Whenever I buy a new model, invariably an “upgraded” model is released. The RXM is still young and I have hopes that more versions will be available soon, though that wouldn’t stop me if the right deal came along.

In the past, there was some gnashing of teeth and rending of garments over on the SIG forum about frame rails cracking on high round count classic P series guns. What I took from all that was a habit of thoroughly greasing the frame rails to keep wear to a minimum.

Making room in the safe... I have a like new Taurus Raging Hunter .460 Magnum. It has only had 7 rounds through it. This is a beast. The .460 Magnum is the fastest straight-wall cartridge there is. It beats out every other one in velocity. I bought it for two reasons... Bear defense while in the woods, and pistol hunting for big game. It would fill both of these roles beautifully. But my Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Cassull does the bear defense job in a more compact unit. And I have a 500 Smith and Wesson for pistol hunting big game. So this one, being in the middle, just sits in the safe. I have added walnut grips, but it also comes with the stock rubber grips. It has a nice hard case and a super nice Coyote Kydex chest rig holster. I have 4 sets of speed clips. Nothing speedy about them, lol, Just an easier way to carry this gigantic ammo while in the woods. It also comes with 2 boxes of Hornady 200 grain ammo, and 93 rounds of 300 grain Freedom Munitions ammo. I have $1,511.63 in this kit. Save yourself tax, shipping, FFL fee, plus a little more off the top. Asking $1,100.00 Located in Maryville, TN.

Recent purchased a used model 64-4 When I brought it home, I took the side plate off, cleaned it up and put it all back together. When function testing, the cylinder sticks so badly I had to bump it to get it back out of the gun. I put the cylinder assembly/yoke and cylinder release back in the frame as well as made sure to tighten the ejector rod. To my dismay, it still sticks. Has anybody had this problem before and if so, how did you solve it?

for-sale Estate Sale July 12 & 13 Memphis
Selectivehoarder replied to Grayfox54's topic in Non Firearm Classifieds
I hit a good bit of sales in our area and I'll try to get by but you might look into posting it on estatesales.net to get more traffic, not sure what it takes to post one but that's where I normally look at sales. https://www.estatesales.net/TN/Memphis -
I had to look this one up. People are really THAT stupid.

No love for the G29?
-
I’m the same way, never a huge Glock guy at all. I owned and carried a G26 for a couple years a long time ago, but then I got more and more into hammer fired, da/sa pistols, and eventually sold it off. It ran like a top, though, and I always shot well with it.
-
Yeah, I started with revolvers as a kid, so I still think in terms of careful shot placement even with a semiauto. I’d rather have a slightly slower shot time, and hit my target, than a faster one and miss three or four times.

I spent a bit of time in Texas and other states. I like Texas. I find Texas to be very similar to other states despite the claims. Eastern Texas and Tennessee are extremely similar. Good luck. Have fun. -
