I went to drop off a something that I was mailing to a friend today. There is a post office annex close to my house so I went down there to drop it in the box. Well, that post office doesn't have a drop box, go figure.

I've done a lot of genealogical research, I've even been to the Mormon Genealogical Research Library in Salt Lake City Utah. I too have a grandfather who served in WWII and would love to find more information about his service. I use familysearch.org which is hosted by the Mormon Church and is free. There is a lot of good information on there and oftentimes you can get leads on where to find documents or information that you are looking for. A word of caution: anyone can add anything to these records, so use them as a guide and verify information on your own. Unfortunately, a lot of the WWII records were lost when the records house in St. Louis caught fire in the 1970s. Good luck.

If I have something to sell I'm going to sell at market value, or possibly below if I'm just looking to get something out of the way. I don't recall ever selling any ammo, but if I were to sell ammo today I would price it based on it's market value, just like anything else. What I will not do is find ammo in stock, buy it out and sell it at a profit. Though during the last ammo shortage I was known to buy it up and resell to family, friends, and even some TGOers at the price I paid. Anything to keep it out of the scalper's hands.

I'm about 6 miles from the fairgrounds, not worth my time. -
I can't speak for to the particular model, but I have a RIA in 9mm that wouldn't feed HP ammo. I suspect it was because the previous owner attempted to polish the feed ramp and messed it up. I contacted RIA and they told me to send it to them. The turn around was pretty quick and the customer service was great. Most importantly, they actually fixed the issue.

You would have to do it to understand

They're going to do their damnedest.

I have about half a box of of that I picked up at The Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet years ago. Actually don't think I have the box anymore, no idea who it was made by. Friend of mine used some of it to euthanize some cripled horses.

Thing is, Apple and Google can remove the app from their stores. You can still go to Parler.com and download the app there.

Amongst other compressors that I have, I carry a 12 volt that plugs into my cigarette lighter, as well as a plug kit. I'd much rather plug it and air it up than change it. Then I proceed to the Discount Tire and have them put a proper patch plug on it.

I may be posting one soon

Yeah, nothing huge, probably a 2 1/2" blade.

Woke up to realize that I did not buy pre sliced hog jowl yesterday. One of GT's fine knives came to the rescue!

Someone trying to get into your car certainly means to do you harm. I think that a reasonable person would call it a good shoot, but my opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it. If nothing else your incident has reminded me that I need to look into overriding the auto unlock feature on my Tundra. I hate that it does that. If I pull over for lunch, or I'm checking my phone before I go into a store, I want my doors locked, especially since my attention is not focused on my surroundings.

I'm getting ready to do one. Not my first, but I'm always looking to improve my skills. What grit are you sending with between coats?

The POI transferred all of his property to another person last month. Draw whatever conclusions you want from that. https://m.imgur.com/gallery/ncquXS9

I grew up on Fords. On my 3rd Toyota, not really interested in owning anything else.

We went last week. Metal detectors at the entrance. They didn't have any issues with my pocket knife.

I play with them, it's something that I enjoy doing. I spend a lot of time doing research and several hours each day watching the market and reading reports. I've had my ups and downs. Up 30% over the past 3 months. Recently made good profits on IDEX, NIO, and JAGX, but lost a chunk of money on GNUS several months ago. I don't play with more than I can afford to loose and treat this more like a poker game than a serious investment. Swing trading penny stocks can be lucrative but nerve wracking. I sold IDEX, NIO, and JAGX close to their peak last week before both plummeted and then put 90% of my money in TSLA, where it just seems to grow substantially without having to watch what it does every minute. I'll probably stay in TSLA until the next hot stock comes around.

Sure, I'll play!

Seeking Advice On Where to Automobiles For Sale By Owner
10-Ring replied to quedz's topic in General Chat
We bought my wife a 2019 CRV last year. It's a great car and has done everything expected. We were initially going to buy used but we we're only going to be able to save two to $3,000 buying slightly used over new. Add to that that Honda has very good financing options if you have good credit, as in under 2%. And it was pretty much a no-brainer to buy new. The CRV and the Camry are kind of two separate animals. It's my opinion that the CRV is much more versatile and I like the fact that ours has all-wheel drive. That said I'm a Toyota guy. -

What to do with inherited muzzle loaders?

If you have no sentimental ties to them there is a few hundred dollars there between them. I'd put each of them in the $100-200 range depending on condition. Not a ton of value in reproductions, but those look like they are in decent shape and serviceable. Someone else may come along and contradict me, and I wouldn't argue with them.
