  1. December at some point I believe.
  2. So I've been doing some practice. Here's a bent and welded receiver. I've already discovered a couple things I'm going to change on the next one.
  3. Cartel wins this thread .
  4. Thanks for the offer, I'll be in touch a little closer. I ordered some odds and ends last night to practice bending and fitting. I'll post the results when it gets done.
  5. Tools came in last week so we're starting to get some traction.
  6. I have Ameriglo night sights on mine. It really isn't hard to swap them out. Oddly enough the Craftsman driver handle for bits fits perfectly, wished I had known that before turning down a perfectly good socket on the lathe. The rear sight just drifts off.
  7. Mike at Law Enforcement Sales in Oak Ridge or Bob Howard at Knoxville Tactical, highly recommend both.
  8. Shops like that are proof we'll eat our own for a buck.
  9. That's cool. There's just something fascinating about toggle bolts.
  10. Mike at Law Enforcement Sales in Oak Ridge, highly recommend.
  11. Point taken. Honestly though, who hasn't been aware of AR platform rifles? Unless it's someone buying it due to the Springfield name, what does it offer? Whoopty do, another AR like the other 8,000 "unique," "High speed," and "neva been done befo" rifles built by every Joe, Bob, and Henry.
  12. Oh wow, yet another ar game changer. Seems to be more on the line of "crap we have a pile of parts we need to burn, let's build andmarket something. "
  13. Did another one last night, only this time it's a cigar case with a baseball stitch. Had to change some things up a bit.
  14. Least they don't have the gun slopping down like Hardee's does with their burgers.
  15. Yeah, I've got to say that one is near the top of my list.
  16. In the cartel cowboy boots, no less. Cool picture.
  17. It's a Sykes-Fairbairn or copy of.
  18. Looks like a CZ and Tokarev had a baby, but I'd totally buy that.
  19. I have to order one of those.
  20. Knocked out some more pieces last night and this morning. MP5 double mag pouch because I wondered what it would look like. AR15 magazine pouch.
  21. I like your approach to the ferro rod holder, never seen anyone do it like that before.
  22. Lancer smoke gray translucent magazine.
  23. Realized I hadn't posted any pictures recently of my leather work projects. These are a couple "prototypes" that I'm working on. First up is a "convertible/multi-use" holster, or so the line of thought went. Every portion is removable and can be left out or a different one can be put on. -Pocket sleeve -Tuckable IWB with spring clips, however it's also punched for soft loops -Completely ambidextrous -Appendix carry if that's your thing -Magazine can be relocated to weak side if desired. I've been wearing the design around for a couple days now and it's really not as bad as I thought it might be off the bat. Thoughts welcome. Second up is a canted double magazine pouch. Friend of mine asked if I had ever done one like that and if so, what it was like. I hadn't so I made this one. It's really a lot nicer I think the way the magazines are angled versus straight up. The pattern needed some work so I've made a new one at this point but haven't put it to leather yet. I also made a second single pouch pattern. Trying to get both done tomorrow night or this weekend. For anyone who does Instagram my handle there is the same as here and there are a lot more pictures on there.
  24. Waiting for the new one to come out.
