  1. That's really cool. Makes me want to go cruise the pawn shops and try and find some guns to salvage.
  2. Fortunately I don't believe HK Parts was a sole proprietorship so it may not affect us that much. I'll be putting in a call Monday though.
  3. Well fantastic. Guess we get to see how this plays out over the coming months.
  4. I have everything to reload but I don't do a whole lot of reloading. So all I would need would be the dies and components for 10mm and ultimately I would reload for it. The two I'm looking at are the mos models and within $20 in price.
  5. For whatever reason the Glock bug has bitten me again. This time it's over longslide models, the 34 or the 40. I'm aware there is a difference between 9mm and 10mm. Problem is I can think of equal pros and cons to each. 34, can use 17 magazines that I already have for my 19. Seems like there are more aftermarket parts avaliable. 40. Can be used for hunting. I don't own a 10mm. What else is there that can be a tie breaker.
  6. Well as seeing that I don't own a Ruger pistol, I might just have to get one of those. Wonder how the aftermarket parts will fit it.
  7. No sympathy when one of these dudes gets shot for being an idiot.
  8. For those who aren't aware I'm George. (Attempt at humor)
  9. Nah, it's just ugly.
  10. Been there and done that. Don't see anything wrong with the method in which you handled it. A neighbor of mine has a dog that does the same thing on my daily runs. First time it happened it came out from a bush and got within a foot of me. At this point it still charges me and barks like crazy while following me, but stops after a couple yards.
  11. Looks like a Mako Group catalog vomited on that rifle.
  12. You know, that's why I removed all the gun stickers off my car. I have considered putting some liberal stickers on though like Green Peace to throw people off. @TGO David I know, it's always a huge disappointment to me when I see the tri-star sticker on a car thinking it is a a TGO member, but turns out it isn't.
  13. It's a cheap brand. I've had one of their red dots and it worked but I sold it really soon after.
  14. If you get a chance stop by the Emery's 5 and 10 on The Island in Pigeon Forge. You would probably enjoy it.
  15. I'm not sure about the 08's but isn't the spare under the car? That's where mine is.
  16. Welcome to the Mini Cooper owners club. Jumper cables I keep under the passenger seat. Outside of that your lost looks good to me.
  17. Sadly correct. Or we're under the magnifying glass more closely.
  18. Tell that to people of my generation.
  19. Thanks @jhc77. If you want shoot me a pm and we can discuss some things. Otherwise I might be in Nashville this weekend for my birthday so we could talk in person then.
  20. It probably didn't mess your order up either.
  21. Wow, those (insert expletives here) are really on a roll as of late.
  22. That's where I'm not knowledgeable enough to say. I do know one of the clones has a push pin lower whereas these can't have that. That clone has another modification done to it to make it legal with the push pin. Outside of that I'm still doing my own research into the system and differences.
  23. That was a joke, Dave.
