  1.   And the other .1% are the reason they have blem lowers and complain about parts not being "mil-spec" when they break after 20,000 rounds (because they count every single round).
  2. A lot of UPS packages are transferred to the USPS for delivery now.  It's a great system....for UPS.

I would much prefer living with the threat of hurricanes than tornadoes.  At least you know it's coming and it's nothing but high wind.  Tornadoes are sudden, localized and extremely violent.  If one hits there will be destruction.

Tornadoes are just a fact of life in the South.  If you move down here don't live in a trailer, they are magnets for twisters.
  5. Just go to the front desk and ask for a manager.  Life is really too short to deal with dumbasses.
  6.   There are a lot of Model 19 THP commemoratives running around as well.
  7.   Well, the front door of the factory is technically in the United States.
  8. That is a Swedish Mauser.  Considered one of the finest made and most accurate military rifles.  It looks to be in excellent condition.
  9.   Pythons cost a fortune even back in the day.  Colt has always been proud of their products.
  10. Always good to hear a good customer service story.   Now, why were you taking your gun apart in the woods....in the dark?
  11. That bill is dead and the current legislature has adjourned.
  12. Now watch prices skyrocket.
  13. I wonder why the status of this bill does not show "Transmitted to Gov. for action." as other passed legislation does.   http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=SB1774
  14. That 1911 looks like something from Home Depot.
  15. You chose wisely.
  16. Any quality pawn shop should be well stocked.
  17. There is no such thing as consistency.  Find what you like and buy a whole shitload of it.
  18. Just so everyone is clear this law was passed in 2013 (last year) and the CA's database was last updated before that law went into effect.
  19. Lemme tell you how this is going to work since I've been suckered into more than one of those modern live dare-devil shows...for two hours you'll sit there while they show the same thing over and over going on and on about what a dangerous and death-defying attempt this is.  A good hour of that two will be commercials.   When it comes time for the feat they will either cancel or it or something will go wrong with one of the cameras so you don't get to see anything worthwhile or it will just in fact be so completely boring you'll want to throw something at the TV.
  20.   Well I guess we don't have to wonder any more now, do we?
  21.   The gun buster sign was NOT valid signage up until a couple of years ago when they passed "guns in bars".
  22. Anything manufactured before 1898 is an "antique" and not subject to FFL regulations.  No license required to purchase.  They can be sent right to your door.   Some Mosins are actually classified as antiques.  As long as the receiver was made before that year it qualifies.
  23. Open carry without a permit failed in the House finance subcommittee yesterday, April 14, 2014....http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=SB2424   Carrying a firearm in your car without a permit passed yesterday, April 14, 2014....http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=SB1774
