  1. If Con Carry is passed, I have every intension of keeping my HCP, if the system is still in place. One of the big draws for me to get my HCP was the ability to carry outside of Tennessee, in states that I travel too. I must confess, that part of me would love to see National Recip passed, just to give the finger to New York, Cali and the other states of that ilk. However, I see this as much more dangerous to our rights in this State, so I do not support it.
  2. If you google Tisas, this thread comes up on the first page of hits. I honestly think it needs to removed, because of that. BTW, I just Googled Tisas again and it still comes up on the first page of hits.
  3. Yes, he got the Ban Hammer.
  4. Yes, normal sized grips should fit, that are made for a Government model or most any model of a 1911a1. How do you like the pistol so far? I've been eyeing them for sometime, because it's so much like the pistol I carried during Desert Storm. Thinking I might trade my Springer XDs .45 for one. I never carry it anymore, since I bought my Ruger LC9S Pro.
  5. Ironically, universal background checks would not have prevented the Parkland shooting, yet the Post-Dispatch editorial board lists such checks as a “rational” response. In fact, universal background checks would not have prevented the overwhelming majority of mass public attacks that occurred over the last decade, because the attackers acquired their guns at retail via background checks. I think we all know what "Rational Response" thaey really want. This is simply a stepping stone.
  6. There for a while, 10mm was available. Not, not so much.
  7. I'm hearing very favorible things about the Hi-Point 10mm carbines too! I have 7 -10 round Hi-Point mags and one of those Pro Mag 15 rounders (which I will not use). I'd be willing to trade someone that wants to fool with the Pro Mag, for another Hi-Point 10 round mag, if anyone is interested in the Knoxville area.
  8. I'm not familiar with the Glock 30SF, but anything Glock is going to be reliable. The Hi-Point 995TS is a fun little budget carbine. I've had two and loved them both. However, neither reliably fed HP ammunition. So I keep FMJ in mine. Both were utterly flawless with FMJ and when using Hi-Point magazines. DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY ON 15 ROUND PROMAGS if you go with the Hi-Point. I know that Hi-Point is selling the Redball 20 round mags on their webiste, so you might check those out, if you must have hi-cap mags. With my current Hi-Point, I have taken off the iron sights and added a cheap reddot. It works great and is holding the zero. The little carbine is quite accurate out to 100 yards too. The trigger is nothing to write home about, but once you get use to it, it's not a deteriment to accuracy. I let my first one go on a trade, but immediately regretted trading it it. My current one is going no where and currently resides in my home office, as my house long gun, when I'm working.
  9. I pretty much have already done this. All my carry pistols are 5 to 9 rounders. This. They already know the flaws in the AWB from the Clinton years and know how to fix them. I expect that when we see it coming down the pike, it's going to look a lot like what's happened in the left controlled states of the Northeast or West Coast. We can expect all firearms transfers will have to go through a FFL, prior to it happening. I just hope, that if it happens, it's not as draconian as New Jersey, where it takes months to get approved to purchase a firearms. At the very least. I don't expect there is going to be any sort of immediate purchase option either, like now, with instant background checks. I expect a 15 day waiting period at the very least and TICS will no longer exist. All BGC will have to go through NICS. Don't expect that this time around. That's your Sherriff now. But watch for the Feds to start making examples of those that stand up and say no. Then tunes will change or those folks will be seeing the inside of a prison cell for sedition. Yes, I said sedition. That cat's already out of the bag, after January 6th. It's the new buzz word. If folks think the Republican Party, conservatives and Libertarians are Facists, they ain't seen nothing yet. The Democrats are about to bring it to a whole new level. Left-Wing Fascism is alive and well and coming at us like a mile long train.
  10. I think this is a good thing for Colt! I hope that CZ works to bring back the luster that the Colt name once had and makes Colt products that are both great quality and also affordable to the common man. I've always loved Colt revolvers, but they are just priced way passed my purchasing point, when so many other firearms are of equal or better quality for a cheaper price.
  11. I'd love to see Constitutional Carry here, with a permit system in place. I'd keep my permit though, so I could carry out of state, where allowed.
  12. The Tennessee Vs Georgia basketball game right now, but I’ve been listen to Eagles Radio on Spotify all day.
  13. I've noticed that too. Prices online appear to have stabilized and actually come back down about $10 for 9mm.
  14. You two gentlemen, have done some great work!!!
  15. I've felt this way for a long time. And it's one of the reasons I no longer vote along party lines and I'm now an Indpendent that leans Libertarian.
  16. That’s a bit more than scary.
  17. I only buy and sell online here. And I have done the occasional deal at a gunshow parking lot. And I also am always armed.
  18. Love it! One of the most elegant pistols ever made!
  19. Yeah, well I don't trust them either. Wingnuts to the left of me. Wingnuts to the right of me. Somewhere in the middle is the truth, but the Wingnuts wouldn't know the truth, if it ran over them with a Mack truck.
  20. How's she taste?
  21. Corroive ammo was all you used to be able to get, back in the day. It probably shoots fine. You just have to be careful to clean your firearm extra well, after shooting it.
  22. I have not. Looks like it might be a bit. I'm super busy at work and the wife has other plans on the weekends.
  23. Read that this morning as well! It's great news!
  24. I love it!
