  3. Same question I have. You can "fire" the primer in the firearm. just chamber, close bolt and pull the trigger, then repeat.
  4. How many here trust their life to your own reloads Started by Ron Padilla, Today, 12:27 AM     Me
  5. I too am happy where I am in my life, no need to fret over what could have been.
  6. My son can, but takes a few rounds to get on target, with a Glock 23. I can with my scoped SBH.
  7. My guess is a shot out barrel.
  8. Watch the bullet real close at 25 seconds to about 32 seconds. The thing is tumbling like mad.
  9. Well with all the info given by robtatto it is still not enough. Chamber specs? Not "printed or factory" but actual, meaning a chamber cast or a pound cast. My bet there is a possible chamber issue. Also the barrel crown just might not be right. You could have a bastard rifle that the chamber is not in line and square with the bore. Have you check a spent case for specs?
  10. I am going with the goose and gander thing. If one can have it then all can have it.
  11. I remember seeing that thread, believe me I am careful about the stuff. The very reason I want to find a smokeless powder to load with.
  12. Yes, it allows you to shoot center fire(primer) cartridge rounds. It has to be fitted to the frame, mine has been fitted. Loads of some smoke less powder, Trail Boss comes to mind. Cowboy rounds can be bought, but I reload so still looking for a powder to use. Black powder can be used as well.
  13.
  14. Mike, do you reload for the 45 Colt and the cartage cylinder? What powder?
  15. Big field of solar panels?
  16. Picked this up just the other day, got the R&D 45 colt conversion cylinder as well. Gona be a hoot to fire. Now to load up some Cowboy loads and have fun. 17. Heard a lot of this on the radio today, seems Nashville is weighting in on this as well, seems the new music venue down town is gona try to block guns as well. My bet it all ends up in court in the next few months.
