  1.   Looks like last year names were sent out around the 22-23rd of November. I'll try to get them out on or before then.   We'll set the deadline for Christmas. Earlier the better though. Past couple of years I think most folks had gotten theirs out by the second week of December.
  2. Added to initial post with a basic description.
  3. It's that time of year again folks! We're starting a little later than normal, but if you are interested in participating in this year's Secret Santa please reply in this thread! I'll give it a week or two for folks that don't check TGO everyday and then I'll PM everyone with the name of their recipient.   Let's do this!   Anyone who ops into secret santa will be given a name at random of another forum member to purchase a gift for. Please keep it to yourself prior to giving it to them! Part of the fun is the mystery!   I believe we have used a $25 cap on gifts the past couple years, but I dunno. Do you guys want a "soft" cap on presents or just leave it up to the gifter? I know I personally usually have a hard time keeping to it. Presents do not obviously have to be firearms related.
  4. I have a set of Shun knives. Wouldn't trade them for the world.
  5. I have Verizon and for the most part I've pretty pleased with it. Coverage is excellent. I have a iPhone, but really even the freebie phones with a contract nowadays would probably be just fine.
  6. See-through scope rings.   $800 rifles with a tasco mounted on it.   Pro mag.   Guys that inherit their grandpappys Garand/1911/whatever and immediately turn around and want to hock it.
  7. That  is the ugliest rifle I've ever seen.
  8. Normally do. Which mini30 are we talking about?
  9. Different corporation iirc.
  10. I can beat Bud's price usually 99.9% of the time. The problem is that I can't do anything about our 10% tax rate.
  11. Well I dunno about "Go-to" but I'd be happy to handle anything you may need.
  12.   Oh don't worry. If there is one thing gun companies love doing, it's stretching out chamberings from year to year so they don't have to come up with anything truely new.
  13.     This. The industry has been a lot slower than normal over the last year I'd say, and we've been seeing a lot of places hurting some even closing up altogether from it.
  14. Damn. I figured it would end this way after so much time has passed. Such a shame.
  15. The LC9 has a striker fired version now. They GREATLY improved the trigger.
  16. I do not believe that the OP will be back to add closure, unfortunately.
  17. Self inflicted? Wonder if he took the kung-fu guy route.
  18.   It must have all the mods. For science!
  19. http://pcpartpicker.com   Click on memory at the top. Scroll down a bit until you see the Speed section on the right hand side. Click show all and place a check mark by the DDR2 memory/speed that you like. Sort by price.   It's an extremely useful tool when finding parts and building a system. The site can check for compatibility errors so you don't end up mistakenly buying something that isn't going to fit your system.    Edit: I should also add to keep an eye on the modules too, since you are looking for 1x 2GB stick and not 2x 1GB.

  22. God that sucks. The bitter old bastard will get his comeuppance sooner rather than later, I'd wager.
