  1. That's a very good and positive question Bersa. only one I know of is food prices are supposed to come down. Of course it is probably a bait and switch because gas prices are going up more. Good luck finding positive law changes! Hopefully there are some.
  2. This question is tough. I like them all for their purpose. The only disappointment I've had is with a G19. I'm actually a Glock fan and have a 22 and 23. I think they shoot great. The G19, not so much. I've worked on the trigger to make it smoother, the ejector to help reduce the amount of case to face impacts. Still unimpressed. Perhaps I just like the .40 better. Perhaps I got a lemon.
  3. Sorry to stomp on your thread Dolomite! my family came from the Abruzzese region and I grew up on homemade food, it was of course fantastic. When I was over there I tried the gnocchi, my favorite pastas and had it in Sicily as well as Venice. Drastic difference in preparation and taste. The south seems to have hardier foods while the north seems to have more of a refined touch, something you'd see in a cooking show. Dolo, hope you find help! Ciao
  4. I've got a 45 degree hill that I weed wack and while I haven't fallen on my back, I have slipped and wound up on my side :/ It's been the unarmed side though
  5. Ha! It reflects in their food too! Sicilian food is heartier than the norths. Sorry I can't help you, my parents refused to teach us Italian so we'd acclimate.
  6. We do have some talented members here that could custom make what you need. I like the versatility and have the same critters running around. I recently picked up a Bersa Thunder for cheap to use as my yard gun, so far I love it! That's a good looking shotgun you got there!
  7. You guys speak the truth. Everything has been so corrupted that reality is scary. We have gone so forward, we are decades behind where we were.
  8. Personally I think the Hive should come back. This is America and its going through some turbulent times. We aren't being well represented by the political class and aren't being fed reality by the media. The pulse of the people is how one should judge the state of things. Censorship is merely a tool used by those wishing to control the conversation, for their purpose. Not saying that is going on here but I think we are/were extremely reserved as it is. Reality is a bitter pill at times, no need to sugar coat it. If we have members that are truly offended by our conversations, well, that says a lot about their character to me. If they don't have the self control to stay out of threads they don't want to be a part of, perhaps responsible firearm ownership isn't in their skill set either. Like it or not, firearms and politics are tied together, if we don't keep it alive we are helping to suppress reality. This is my .02 and I certainly don't expect to sway anyone, just wanted to add my opinion. As you were!
  9. I have experienced the same dilemma and have found that a compact .22 semi auto in a fobus paddle works best for me. Works on the mower, and when I'm doing anything else. 11rds of mini mag and I could use rat shot as the first round if I wanted. i haven't had to kill anything yet but deduced that .22 is enough for what I would cross paths with. The Judge is kinda big, if I were to carry one I would probably use a chest rig. Or get a small .22
  10. its so easy to be an honest and good person, too much effort i guess. WIFM?
  11. Right on! Thank you and hope to get signed up to a couple on here.
  12. The northwest is the capital of depression and suicide. I have spent some time near Seattle and I could see how some with emotional instability could take the dark skies and rainy climate depressing. Personally i see the beauty it brings. The Puget Sound area is one of the most beautiful places we have in this great land of ours. Rain brings life and growth. Of course that area is extremely liberal and that probably contributes to the mass depression. They are also wired on caffein! I still don't get it, it could always be worse. Make the most of what you have and what's around you.
  13. Poor planning on the buyers part for sure, luckily he wasn't hurt. Hopefully he learned a life lesson at least.
  14. He was truly talented! This is a shame. 3 kids and one of the best voices of this generation. He had some dark music and I guess a dark life. Very sad! RIP
  15. They have come in to my area with a large force just in the last 2 years. I wonder if is merely because of expansion or if there used to be one of those non existent large cats living in my area and it moved on. One was spotted (by a person and not TWRA so it didn't happen) recently about 1.5 miles away. Some of the yotes are damn big too, size of a German Shepard. Some are small and roam in numbers. it will take an extraordinary effort to curb their population here. Of course it would be a heck of a lot easier if we could hunt them after dark. WHEN THEY ARE ACTIVE!
  16. I was getting about five different red tails on my game cam for about a year and a half. Two of them were missing a leg, that's why I won't trap. The coyote population got pretty heavy and haven't seen them since. I hope they moved on instead of being dinner. Beautiful animals!
  17. They are fun in more ways than one! whats even worse than putting it back together, is a magazine can be inserted backwards. Unfortunately it gets destroyed when you finally get it out.
  18. Getting the first P-3 ready for the flight schedule, we found a swarm decided to park on the #2 propeller. We changed aircraft for that flight. Had a beekeeper come and take em, seemed smarter and cleaner than firing up the engine!
  19. Damnedest thing these birds and windows. I had a crow doing that as well and it would go to town on the sill, he hasn't been back since we had a little talk. He left plenty of damage though. i also have a problem with Hawks coming in for a snack while the birds are at the feeder, occasionally they fly in to the window and break their neck. Had two doves do it one day and the hawk came back for them. Watched him grab one dove and drag it to the other one. Then proceeded to start plucking feathers to get to the meat. It was impressive to see as he was only about 4 feet away from me. The cds do work, it's the movement that spooks the birds.
  20. If it were my shop I would allow hot blonde chicks that exposed their unmentionables otherwise it's idiotic inmo. i like loose fitting because I need room but to have to hold up your drawers and lose a hand for anything else is just dumb.
  21. I'll trade you my black one if you'd like
  22. No mater how you slice it, it's a good rifle, congrats!
  23. Geez. i disagree. If you want to make the money of a CEO, strive to be one and become one. If you want to get govt mandated raises and a "living wage" for doing menial work that doesn't take a special skill set, prepare to be replaced by a robot or machine and wait for your handout. Crooks and politicians! I label those lacking ethics and the moral incapacity to do the right thing for the right reason crooks as well.
  24. The only people that take wealth they haven't earned are crooks and politicians. That's why many pols are against the death penalty, in case their actions catch up to them. If someone has a business, it's to make money. Or to satisfy a need to provide a service or good. Your narrative sounds like a liberal bumper sticker.
  25. Filling the gas tank is icing on the cake to verify the purchase! ride safe!
