  1. I slapped this one together with stuff laying around. I didn't glue it and so far it's been pretty sturdy. The wood can take more hits than pvc. It's small enough to throw in a trunk or back of the Polaris easily
  2. Congrats on the retirement! Before you know it you'll be up and at em again. Then you'll be so busy you'll wonder how the heck you got anything done when you worked. For now heal up, relax and pat yourself on the back for making it to this point!
  3. Does anyone actually think the gov isn't building as many databases that they can? Buwahahahaha think we still have privacy? Even more laughing!!!!! It's not funny at all but we aren't spending our hard earned tax money to build the largest day storage facility in the planet for nothing. (Or built by now) OP, glad it wasn't your actual firearm involved in the issue but if I were a betting man, it would be that our gov has as many records of firearms that there are in existence at their fingertips.
  4. Welcome to closer to home! Thanks for your service as well!
  5. I have to weed wack entirely too much but not because the mower can't handle it. Some areas are too steep to safely now. I have had to cut grass higher than the tractor before. 25hp Craftsman with a 50" deck. No mulching blades and had to go slow and double cut. 1st pass as high as the deck will go, Makes the field look like a yard. I have since added a zero turn with a 60" deck. Absolutely worth it's weight in gold! Well, close to it at least. I've put it through the same test and it works like a champ. They both have cup holders so going slow is easy Start off with changing the blades and you might be good to go.
  6. I worked in Naval aviation for 20 years, never had any issues like this. Now there are issues with at least 4 aircraft platforms. 7. Since they can't seem to solve the O2 issue, might as well. After all, what could go wrong?

Is that one of them NY trigger Jammie's? if adding trigger pressure for "safety" reasons isn't derived from a mental disorder, I don't know what is.
  10. Flag Status Current Status: Half Staff Remains of Vietnam War Veteran to Return to Middle Tennessee William Brandon O'Kieff to be Laid to Rest After Nearly SO Years By order of the Governor, flags over the State Capitol and all State office buildings are to be lowered to half-staff in honor and memory of U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant William O’Kieff of Murfreesboro, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the Vietnam War. Flags are to be lowered from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, June 17, 2017. Note: Please make every effort to follow the instruction above, however, if your flag location does not have the ability to lower on Saturday, please make note to lower at the close of business on Friday and raise back to full staff at sunrise on Monday. NASHVILLE - Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Department of Veterans Services Commissioner Many-Bears Grinder recognize the service and sacrifice of U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant William O'Kieff of Murfreesboro, who was presumably killed on November 27, 1970 along with five other American crew members, 73 Republic of South Vietnam service members and their wives and children. O'Kieff was assigned to 19th Tactical Airlift Squadron, 315th Tactical Airlift Wing and was serving in support of the Vietnam War when the C-123K carrying the Americans and South Vietnamese passengers crashed. The Flight Engineer from Middle Tennessee was 38-years old at the time of the crash. The cause of the crash has not been determined. On December 18, 1970, a Graves Registration Team recovered approximately 34 bodies, but was only able to identify two American crewmembers. >On March 29, 1971, additional remains were discovered but individual identifications were not made and the remains were buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Between 1985 and 1988, Vietnamese refugees returned human remains and personal effects over to the U.S. Using DNA testing and anthropological analysis, the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory (AFDI L) identified O'Kieff in May, 2017. O'Kieff played football for the Tigers and graduated from Central High School in Murfreesboro before he enlisted in the Air Force. In 1958 he married Margaret Adair O'Kieff and they had two children together. Margaret passed away in 2016. "William left the football fields of Tennessee to bravely serve in the combat zones of Vietnam and gave his all in the process," Haslam said. "We join his children, Alexander and Dawn, in remembering their father's brave service and finally laying him to rest in Tennessee." "As we prepare to pay our respects and remember the ultimate sacrifice of William O'Kieff, we also want to remember the sacrifice of his family who waited nearly 50 years for this day," Grinder said. "This is a somber time of closure and gratitude for the ongoing efforts of the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory to identify our fallen heroes." "Our family is just overwhelmed with all that has happened in the short weeks of receiving this information," daughter Dawn O'Kieff said. "We never thought that we would have our father back home to us. To have him laid to rest beside our mum, and his parents and grandparents is just absolutely amazing." O'Kieffs remains will arrive at the Nashville International Airport Air Cargo Building at 963 Airport Service Road in Nashville on Friday, June 16 at 12:49 p.m. (CDT). Media planning to attend the dignified arrival will need to be staged at the Air Cargo Building by noon. Interviews with family members will not be provided during the dignified transfer of remains. Haslam has declared a day of mourning and ordered flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, June 17 in honor of Technical Sergeant O'Kieffs ultimate sacrifice. Graveside service with full military honors will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro on Saturday, June 17 at 1 :00 p.m. (CDT). O'Kieff is survived by his son Alexander, daughter Dawn of Nashville and granddaughter Aislin O'Kieff of Conover, North Carolina. http://www.tn.gov/main/article/flag-status
  11. Perhaps you are right! Oddly enough, there is little to no coverage in the media about the VA shooter wanting to kill as many repubs as he could. On to another story Several shots fired at truck flying ‘Make America Great Again’ flag on I-465 INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana State Police say shots were fired at a truck carrying a “Make America Great Again” flag and an American flag on eastbound I-465 Tuesday. Officers believe the shots were fired from a newer white 4-door Chevrolet Malibu with a Louisiana plate near Emerson Avenue around 4 p.m. The victim and a witness informed police that the Malibu pulled up next to the pickup truck, a passenger held a handgun out of the window and then a male fired several shots. Police say no one was in injured in the incident. The driver of the Malibu was described as a black male around the age of 23. The passenger was described as a light skinned black male with a sleeve tattoo on his right arm. State police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call 317-899-8577. http://fox59.com/2017/06/15/several-shots-fired-at-truck-carrying-make-america-great-again-flag-on-i-465/
  12. Buy used, preferably dented and no one will ever crash into it! Glad you aren't jacked up too much!
  13. They should use the money to study the defects in liberal mentality. But then again, they didn't raise even a fraction of the funds needed to satisfy their demented minds. I would tell them for 45k
  14. Are you saying that delusional thought processes without any data to back up their ideas and to ignore real data is ok? while I get the gist of your thought, the premise of the reality is beyond comprehension. On the same lines, this is the first shot fired. i say bring it on and stop the painful abuse of this once great nation!
  15. Not a whole lot of info in the story. You would think the media types would want to get as much info out there to help get the guns off the street. Definately happening too often.
  16. For a free magazine, I wish I had one!
  17. I just tried to duplicate the problem after applying handgun safety protocols of course and cannot get my safety to not be either in safe or fire position. Perhaps it's because I've kept it pretty clean and lubed even after inclimate weather exposure. It has a very positive transition from safe to fire and vice versa. The recall says they'll swap the safety and sear. I wonder it they will be some sort of beefed up over safe government approved version that'll make the pistol less reliable. Similar to other safety devices. I'll keep an eye on this, thanks for sharing. Edit: my mistake, mine is a MKIII prices for MKIVs are still to high for me.
  18. They will not ever get it Bersa. They don't have the ability to look at reality with an open mind and see all of the factors that lead to the result. Either that or they just want to disarm folks any way they can. Probably a little of both, depending where they are in the food chain.
  19. They look like a neutered version to make them unscary in NY. Of course since they aren't black anymore, maybe they won't make bloomburg pee himself.
  20. I'm triggered :/ now I need to go to my safe, ugly space! just kidding. I didn't think anything could be uglier than a Glock.
  21. This will be great thing to see! Hopefully the weather will be good.
  22. Was just reading about his life. He lived hard and it wore on him. Saw the band in Philly before Dickey Betts left and they were awesome!!! Ive listened to the Allman Brothers Band almost daily for many many years and will continue to do so. Not much new music these days compares. RIP Gregg!
