  1. Oh...never heard it.
  2. Sounds like that LEO needs to quit. If it takes putting the uniform back on the next day to care again then he's simply doing it for a paycheck. That's called burn-out.
  3. Hum, my wife works for Gibson and I know of no saxophones there.   Yep, she knows of none either. After the 2 wood incidents ole Henry would probably lace it with arsenic anyways.
  4. I like the TR4 too. A big blade that has a glass-breaker on the other end...SWEET!!!
  5. Congrats! The great thing with grandkids is spoiling the crap out of them and then sending them home to their parents. :)
  6. What's a "kinfe"??? :)
  7. One has to know in order to ask, and there are a lot of clauses to that.
  8. But, but, it's for operators!! :)
  9. Speculate is all we do on this forum. We weren't there: therefore, we do not know how it went down. I commented solely on what was said in the article which specifically mentions a Facebook post. What is the relevance of that comment if it didn't have significant bearing on the story?   I've seen "political" maneuvering like this before specifically designed to remove someone from their seat but able to be thrown out by a competent lawyer AFTER the damage is done.
  10. You, sir, have an addiction.
  11. Judging from some of the comments under that article she wasn't liked: therefore, it leads me to believe that she was targeted. Of course I could be wrong, but having seen how local governments work I doubt it.
  12. Not the same thing although they made things easier on their selves. In this case an employee saw a weapon. I'd bet he/she couldn't ID the subject so they just asked.
  13. I don't think that would qualify as a spontaneous confession.   EDIT: Unless they asked everyone, (which I doubt), they singled her out because of a FB post.
  14. As a former LEO I wouldn't consider it PC.
  15. Clorine gas (CL2) - which this wasn't; they said that it was powdered - is very deadly. My chemistry professor instructed us to run out of the building if we saw a green cloud released, and to not rely on the vents.
  16. I get mine at Batteries Plus which I believe are Everready.
  17. Nuts or not, it isn't cool to pull a stunt like this.
  18. And what happens when the "slippery slope" takes effect? All it takes is an activist doctor colluding with an activist judge. You can't say that it won't happen since special interest groups judge shop all of the time.   Irony: It's illegal to doctor shop but legal to judge shop. The former pretty much effects the individual whereas the latter effects pretty much everyone.
  19. How would you feel if you had to go through the expense to hire an attorney to fight an unjustified claim? What would you do if you didn't have the funds to appeal?
  20. I have large hands, (XXL gloves size large), and love my Ed Brown Kobra Karry so much that I bobbed my 1911A1. It certainly helps with concealment, but it also helps with comfort during IWB concealed carry. I concur with shooting one first to determine what's right for you.
  21. Why not get the Target version then?
  22. Gee, I wonder why? :)
  23. I have no problems with undercover work either provided the agent is stable. Clearly, this dude is not, and showing this video would certainly destroy his credibility.
