1. I didn't find it entertaining when he said dogs have no souls and casually mentioned in a thread that his dog got loose and euthanized. While I agreed with him on 10mm being the best and .40 sucking eggs, that was about all we had in common. I feel like his rants were not only hate filled but almost purposely inflammatory in order to cause problems. Trolling almost. Not on a ShepardMaster level but a level to cause problems. Wasn't aware of the ban, but I for one won't miss anyone who is ok stating animals have no souls.
2. Member of the Family. Where's the box for "Alternative Child Choice"?!? LOL My friends sadly hit a dog yesterday. There's a house by us that has a ton of dogs all loose and they always run into the road. My friend was cautious but one was determined. They rushed it to the vet for care. Covered in blood they went back to inform the owner and they non-chalantly just said "it was bound to happen, did you put her down"? Needless to say my friends are now paying a lot of money for a new dog. I told her to name it Lucky and she said she was naming her Xena. I didn't have the heart to tell her she's a lesbian in the reboot they're planning.
3. It's the one we used for the TGO pups. We raised $2,080!!! Didn't hit our goal, but came damn close! It's still open!
4. So true! But I would recommend YouCaring. It's geared more towards medical expenses and they won't take as much of the donations for profit.
5. What Monkey said. Right now we're sitting on about $1,000 in bills. We're lucky it isn't cancer but now he might need a blood transfusion and he'll be on steroids and meds for the next 4-5 months at least. For us, we're a single income family and while we can make it, it's going to be tight. Luckily we have emergency money we can tap when needed. Max is between 10-12, as long as he is not in pain, I'll pay whatever it takes. If you can't afford it all, there are organizations that are set up to help you cover payments. Dog charities. I'm not kidding. Let me do some digging through my Facebook messages and see if I can find some links for you!! Again, it will depend on his quality of life, but goodness gracious, if he's your pal and can recover, let's try. So I'm going to go looking for those groups! 6. The last time I ate there was over 2 years ago and I got so sick that even riding by makes my stomach do flips.
7. FYI - Underwood is offering free shipping until the 20th. Coupon code is "lucky".
8. So moving here to pay less taxes, and now the CEO wants to make fully automated restaurants. Awesome. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2016/03/17/carls-jr-ceo-wants-to-replace-all-human-workers-with-robots/ Thank god I never eat there, it won't bother me to skip it. Ever.
9. If you aren't friends with an Orkin man, I would highly recommend their services. Their yard fogger is amazing and we love it. It is for mosquitos but I noticed that our pups never had ticks in Nashville once we started fogging the yard.
10. Well guess what? We have someone ready for adoption! Cooper is feeling A LOT better. He has doubled in weight and is 6mo old now! With Cooper there are a few things to know. He will NOT just go to any home. Cooper is going to need someone who will love him and focus on him. He has been through hell and back and he is a VERY special dog. He can go to a home with another dog but I would prefer to keep it to single dog or two dog homes. I believe that more then that is overwhelming for him and he needs to be able to come out of his shell more. He is a huge snuggler and loves nothing more then to lay next to you and cuddle. You need to understand he is never going to be a stereotypical Pit Bull. First of all, it's possible he's mixed with something and secondly, since he was so emaciated, he will never be huge, super muscular or scary looking. Consider him Revenge of the Nerds instead of The Terminator. Coop is house broken and happy. He loves to eat. He has slight food aggression with other dogs, not humans. He eats in his crate to avoid issues with the puppies, but in time I think he can get over that. You have to remember how emaciated he was. He is very gentle and meek. Loud noises, voices make him nervous, yelling is a scary thing to him. He is NOT good around chickens. I do not know about cats or children. I would imagine with kids he would be OK, but again, as with any dog, parental supervision should be a given. He is a great guard dog. He alerts to anything he sees that he doesn't like or know. He will make a great dog for someone with love and patience to give. Liz and Red... They have about 3 more weeks to go. These two turds are ridiculously cute and while I would love for them to go to the same home I know it is not realistic. We are still working on crate and potty training. :wall: And while I am not saying they're jerks, they're for sure bullheaded. Believed to be 1/2 Boxer and 1/2 Pit but again, not 100%. Liz and Red both love to snuggle and eat. While not doing either of those hobbies they can be found napping, pooping or biting something. They're typical puppies. We are working on manners but at 8.5 weeks, I am lucky if they come when called. They will be ready for their forever homes in about 3.5 weeks. If you are interested in adopting one or any of these mutts please just send me a PM and we can discuss it. Please understand there are adoption fees involved. There is an application process, there will be an adoption contract required and you should have a home with a fenced in yard. I am fortunate that I have a husband who is patient so there is no rush for me to re-home them. They will be with us until the PERFECT home is found. I am not trying to sound like Satan, but you have to understand that these babies have been through a VERY rough start in life and I fully intend on nothing but the best for them. And as always, because I am a shameless puppy rescuing fool, our links to donation sites below. Thanks again and please feel free to PM me with any questions if you're interested in adoption! https://www.youcaring.com/coop-liz-ressler-and-red-516225 http://amzn.com/w/1T8GYU8KCI9XU
11. Just for that you get a new gun!! Congrats Mav!
12. No kidding! Hetfield's voice would've made this much better.
13. I know, I was just joking. They're also trashy. Like an Armanian version of The Beverly Hillbillies.
14. Mine is nothing but chickens, puppies, dogs, food and guns. The later is rarely posted, unless we go target practice or what not.
15. So you're telling me we aren't Keeping Up with the Kardashians?!?!?!?
16. Mike! You magnificent man! This Picpoul de Pinet is delicious!! I just opened it and Monkey and I both LOVE it!!
17. I had a UPS guy (not my regular) get into a verbal dispute with me over a road that was old and one lane that had been closed. And how Yankees moving in ruin everything (our neighbor that owns is from New England area. I told him, it's posted for a reason, respect it or find out the hard way what happens. My regular UPS man apologized the next day and asked me my side. He reported him to their supervisor. I've never seen the other guy again but I have a feeling he can't run our route.
18. The bra is boring and why's his finger on the trigger? I'd dump her immediately if I was the boy. Daddy ain't got no sense!
19. Out here it's people on ATV's or 4 wheelers. What we usually do is get the neighbors to help us "stop" them where we're all armed, our neighbor then politely points out the trespassing issue, documents their vehicles and says let's not meet again. It works really well. ;-) and I don't have to waste ammo!
20. What my boss said. I should have not been giving an opinion that late. Thank you sir for helping me. :-P
21. x 1,000,000 Beau and his son John are amazing guys. Super honest, very reliable and just awesome over all. They rebuilt my 351m for my 79 Bronco. Made some big changes and helped us a lot. It wasn't running right, they called their personal mechanic out to look at it. A year later, more issues, they helped us again. They're AMAZING to work with and I cannot speak highly enough about what they did for us!
22. They've already started filling Meijer's parking lots with 5 Tesla charging stations each up north. Apparently they think it's going to be a huge hit.
