  1.   Because many of the Powers that be don't like Gun Carry at all and anything that limits it is a good thing.  They also like power and know they have to at least make it look good in order to sell it so they toss crumbs at gun owner but don't want to make it 2 convent or more people might actual carry firearms.   Thanks Robert
  2.   Ting supports both t-mobile and sprint.  CDMA 3G as used under Sprint and Verizon is connected to phone itself not a sim like AT&T and t-mobile.  So you will have to call ST and give them information about your phone it isn't as simple as just plugging in a sim card.   Thanks Robert
  3.   Straight Talk supports both AT&T and Verizon re-seller are you sure the SIM is connected to Verizon vs AT&T.  Also if that is an LTE 4G it is likely that Straight Talk will need to ad the MEIZ (sp?) to there network.   Thanks Robert
  4.   U.S. Cellular is tied with Verizon Wireless if you can get the phone unlocked you should be able to connect it to the Straight Talk Verizon re-seller network.   Thanks Robert
  5. This has zero chance of passing in congress.  It is at best a publicity stunt and a bad one.  Not going to help the Democrats come November no one likes the idea of a 30 to 40 cents increase in their cost of gas and it helps remind people the Democrats like to tax everything that moves.   Thanks Robert
  6.   Moved to Cleveland TN in June of last year myself from Severn Maryland.  It is so great being out of the State of Maryland I can't tell you.  Over the last 7 months I have managed to get my HCP permit and really enjoying the freedom of living in a real free state.   PS.  I really don't miss the taxes Maryland hits everyone with.   Thanks Robert
  7.   There law is already better than TN in some ways they have Open Carry without a permit.   Thanks Robert
  8.   1) Driving a car is not a right it actually is a privilege. 2) I know several people who drove on their own property way before they were 16 and way before they have a license it isn't illegal to drive on your own property with or without a license.  Driving on a public roads is considered a privilege.     According to the Bill of Rights of the United State of America owning and carrying a gun is a Right.  The courts have decided wrongly in my opinion that some rights can be voided for certain reasons.
  9. In THEORY Social Media is meant to be board far reaching and not topic specif.  Whereas TGO is meant to be based around a Topic "Gun" granted we can go off into a wide range of topics on the forum however the forum purpose is to talk about Guns.  To me the difference the Topic orientation of forums that don't make it social media.   Thanks Robert
  10.   Doesn't help.  Somehow the Liberal groups get found to not violate whereas constitutive group almost always loss.
  11.   Do you know anything about the State of Maryland?  It is libtard central.   Thanks Robert
  12.   Everyone knows the best way to solve was to pop one piece off and the things would fall apart then you could put them back together.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXQMJx61kP0   Thanks Robert
  13. Cost could be a big question mark but it sounds like something I would like to attend and it is under 2 hours away so I will try and make it.   Thanks Robert
  14.   Read your policy many have limits on certain class of items.  Many times if an item or group of items is about a certain value you have to list them on the policy or they might not pay you if they are destroyed in something like a fire or burglary.
  15.   Kasich was put into the race to help pull enough votes in Ohio to either take them out of play or give him barging chips in the event that the race was close between two other Candidates.   Thanks Robert
  16. I have to vote no since I have handicap tags and you can't get custom tags in my county if you have handicap plates.   Thanks Robert
  17.   1) Well at the time of the posting my understanding was they were going to end I thought it was Jan 31st 2016 not Feb 1st 2016.  So I was off by 1 month. 2) I hadn't seen where they reversed that decision last I had read was reciprocity was going to end pretty much now.   With the reversing of that decision there is no reason to get a Utah permit and you likely won't find any trainers in the area unless things change.   Thanks Robert
  18.   All the states around Maryland accept the Utah permit.  Maryland is like New York only the privileged can carry.    Utah permit are still recognized in VA.  So Jan 2015 there was no advantage in Jan 2016 it gets you VA.   Thanks Robert
  19.   I came from Maryland where there are more Utah permit holders then MD state holders.  There were instructors all over the place.  If I remember correctly any NRA certified instructor can become a Utah instructor but I could be wrong.  I am guessing within the next year there will be instructor all over eastern TN.   Thanks Robert
  20.   Better way.  Stop taking taxes out of people's paychecks completely.  Anyone who has to pay quarterly tax payment will tell you how hard that is.  Well you are at it make sure people have to write a separate check for SSI and Medicare.  Let the average middle class America get all their money then they have to write out a check to pay uncle sam.  Want to see a tax revolt do that it won't take long before people are at the statehouse, congress, & the Whitehouse with pitchforks and ready to tar a feature a few politicians.   Thanks Robert
  21. 23 out of 30 and I did better then I though I would.  I am still pretty new to guns and some of this stuff I just have no clue about.   Thanks Robert
  22.   I had a problem with my kit when I first got it.  Sent it off to them they fixed it and haven't had a problem since.  It has the same feel in the trigger, and grip.  It doesn't have the same sight picture when it comes to shooting and of course the recoil is way different but it still a fun shooter and still pretty good for practicing.
  23.   I came from Maryland I understand battered resident syndrome more then many.  I actually believe that using hand loaded ammo could be a problem after the shoot but this is even too far into the mud even for me.  In my case everyone paid cash to the instructor and as far as I know no nothing was written down.  But how would anyone know if I brought in my Glock 19 or my Glock 19 with it TSG .22 adaptor?  This month the instructor and myself might remember.  6 month from now who knows.  2 years from now not even myself could tell you for certain and no way could the instructor unless he took the time to write it down when there is no place in any of the paperwork to do that and then the other person's lawyer would have to ask the instructor and the instructor would decide he would need to pull his person notes from how many years ago?  Never going to happen especially from something that at best is trivial.   In the end I agree.  Shoot what you depend on for defense and practice, practice, and practice.   Thanks Robert
  24.   I bought a Tactical Solutions TSG-22 TE .22 Conversion Kit for my Glock 19.  Is allows me to just swap the mag and swap slides and I am shooting .22lr on the same Glock I am currently using to Conceal Carry with.
  25.   No where in your paper work does it say what gun you used.  The instructor in my case just recorded my score and that was it.  The only way someone would know is if they asked you and you told them.  Also the one thing the instructor was very clear on "You are responsible for every bullet and where it goes" that means it doesn't matter if you qualified with a .22lr or a you managed to get your hands on a THUNDER .50 BMG Pistol and used that.  A stray bullet that goes someplace you didn't mean it to go will get you into trouble no matter what.    Thanks Robert
