  1. The Taran Tactical extensions are pure gold. WarPig turned me onto them - more expensive than Pearce but SO worth the extra clams. Cant give you any insight on IWB since I just stuff it in my cargo shorts pocket Idk about you but my Glock 43 trigger SUCKS Id stone it or put a Ghost in it Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  2. As long as you duct tape it to your thigh like Gecko45 does you are good to go ;) I was gonna quote TN 39-17-1308 but Prag beat me to it Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  3. I forget the name pattern but the keywords and forced typos keep relaying the same numbers depending on what you are keying it ass. 42 and 24. As well as 4 x 4 And 2 x 4 I'll take a better look when I get home and bother the S2 over at 3-5 Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  4. I would reccomend a 9mm for a first purchase. Ammo is always available, there are great rounds for higher power/self defense and hundreds of 9mm handguns available. Also an added bonus is its extremely easy to load for. .22s are fun but I do not trust them for self defense, they do not recoil enough to get a real feel for handguns and the ammo availability is scarce. I hate .40s so I cannot help you there, its a neutered round with horrible ballistics - I would tell you to get a 10mm but since you are still getting cozy a 9mm works very well. 5. I got the 20 already. 357 SIG fell through. Im interested in 45 gap because of materials/ease
  6. Always shenanigans going on in that parking lot near McDonalds and Popeyes Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  7. I do not believe so, the inner case wall dimensions are just slightly off to do it
  8. Stuff like this has Armslist written all over it. I see some sketchy stuff in the Clarksville classifieds sometimes Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  9. Got in all sorts of shipments today - guess my 24hr CQ shift is a blessing in disguise so I can setup my Dillon SDB and "Lord of War" some ammo. I decided to get 1K Hi-Tek coated 185gr SWC bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. - lighter and cheaper than 230gr XTPs and they take less powder. So I had a few questions before I tear open my boxes... I never handled a SWC bullet before - nor a coated/lead bullet, any steps I should take on loading these on a progressive press? Will these LSWCs get mangled at all if I am too vigorous? Ill be shooting from a P345D, SR1911 and Glock 30 - is there a happy medium for OAL? My 230gr loads are pretty short IIRC (1.090? Ill have to check) should I keep that length? Or go shorter/longer? The data I found online and from books all suggest 3.9-4.1gr of Bullseye, didnt vary much more from that - does that sound good? Or should I go with 800X/Unique? I am not looking for nuclear loads - just a nice shooting range round. Any other precaution I should take? As far as case belling/crimps? Im probably over thinking this lol. Thanks in advance TGO for saving my misinformed ass once again. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  10. The M79s are still useful - granted they have some high speed Gucci drum-fed launchers now but for "poor" PDs those are pretty useful to shoot some 40mm CS canisters at hippies Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  11. 4 years of civil war, sectarian violence, transnational/non-state terrorism, SOF high kinetic operations and global response will do that... And that is only a piece of the pie - look at cities like Homs, poverty-stricken Damascene neighborhoods, and Palmyra Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  12. Weren't we just talking about how much of a POS Priest was in a thread a month or so ago? What a damn shame Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  13. Hell yeah man, Id rather a jammed rifle than an IED lol
  14. Next week. We'll drag you to the steel range
  15. Attracts all the mall ninjas - "No Frills" works Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  16. Hall of Shame is pretty legit. ProfessionalSoldiers has the "Your Rucksack Is In The Hall" (not a good thing to hear btw) for people who fail to follow simple instructions/screw the system. And some honorable mentions of how to be a total moron like DamYankee or Gecko45. Its good comedy and serves as an example - and builds cohesion through adversity lol. 17. Uh oh it's "tactical" that is never a good thing. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  18. Now I want a Glock 34 and a RMR after today... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  19. I would say 9mm carbine. 9mm rounds are pretty adaptable and in a carbine pushing a 147gr +P+ I want to say that would put a deer in the books - let alone a 2 legged threat Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  20. Was fun today. You guys missed the real "Operators" at the steel range. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  21. Gonna be in the low 50s with decent wind at around 10am. Good shooting weather. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  22. Its good to go You should melt all your 40 stuff and graduate to real man's 40 and get a 10mm [emoji6] [emoji56] [emoji13] Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  23. The 'ole "Glock-nade" IIRC it was the Gen 2 40 cals that were supposed to be rated for +P but just exploded instead lol Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  24. All my brass I use for 9mm, 10mm and 45ACP goes through my Glocks with stock barrels. No issues at all with reloads. The only bulging I notice is on my hotter 10mm loads (9.1gr 800X) - but I do a full resize and a really aggressive crimp and they always slide right into my Lee gauges and Glock barrels. My 45 gets shared with my SR1911 and P345D and I have yet to have a busted case even though I have had brass put through all those 3 in addition to a Glock 21 and 36. 25. I used TD for my day-trading but data available is slim. Analysts do not spend time on small places - a lot of the FININT/HUMINT gathering will have to be done the old way. When I dabbled in penny stocks I went for mining companies - then did all sorts of GEOINT and personnel/equipment research. Start up marijuana companies are also pretty funny - have to frequent pothead boards/High Times for that stuff Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
