  2. i do it twice a year on my glocks that get heavy use.  i do it on my duty glock twice a year also.
  3. some good deals on things that i do not need or want.   but still good deals.
  4. take the side plate off and clean the insides good.  you don't have to take anything out.  if you do it is not hard to put them back in.  s&w wheel guns are easy to work on.
  5. same here and i check my load with my chronograph.
  6. i jumped and i knew what was going to happen.
  7. sometimes it is better to use the cash that you have for a use car as a down payment for a new car that has zero percent for so many months.  hard to beat a new car at zero percent when you put a large down payment down.  that is if you have the credit and can make the payments.  if not, it looks like it is a cash and carry use car and the games of buying a use car.
  8. when someone tells me happy holiday i tell them merry christmas.
  9. when i buy a use car/truck i check the price on all the use car pricing sites to get an average of what the vehicle should sell for.  then that i were i stand.  to many used vehicles to fall in love with one that is high priced.  today if you got money in hand you can just about get your deal with a used car.  if not move on to the next one.
  10. this just show me that the government run schools have won.  we are gone, it is over.  there is no way we can come back from this.
  11. many mango seasons ago when i was into deer hunting hot and heavy i have several different rifles that i used.  a 30-06, 8mm, 30-30, and a 35 rem.  but as time went on i kept going to the 35 rem.  it just got the job done and the lever action gun was lighter to carry.
  12. I was in school. We got the rest of the day off. Teachers were upset some. But us kids were not. We just got the rest of the day off.
  13. go over to the marlin firearms forum they have a chart that has the years dates for the lever guns.  it is based off the first two numbers/letter of the serial number.
  14. back in 1980 i got into them.  i used them for competition silhouette shooting.  my wife also got into the game with them.   i got t/c in 22 lr, 22 mag, 38/357 mag, 44 mag, 7mm tcu, and 223.  they are one of the best single shot pistol going next to the remington xp100.  the 7 mm tcu is up to par to my xp100 in 7mm-308 and 30-223 when it comes to long range silhouette matches.   some can be hard to open at first, but with use they break in.
  15. fools and their money.
  16.  i don't care what she thinks or says.  never have, never will.   also with the other person she is talking about it is the same too.
  17. back in 84 i pickup a norinco ak-47 in 5.56.  it is a great shooter.  shoots all brands of 5.56 ammo.  if you can find one i would get it.  it loves the steel case ammo.
  18. good ammo and a good price.
  19. you get what you pay for when it come to workers.
  20. 45 acp, 40 s&w, and the 9mm all have done the job for many years.  sometimes better than others.  sometimes not so good.  there is no one shot stop with the three.  carry what you got.
  21.   i have used both for bulk ammo.  never had any problems.  prices for ammo is all over the place and the shipping is too.
  22. everybody needs a j-frame somewhere around the house.  either in 39 sp and/or the 357 mag model.  a j-frame is a good all around gun.
  23. i don't spend my money there.  have not for many mango seasons.  i don't like whom they make their tv ads for/to.   i don't fit into their market.
  24. funny.  somebody is going to lose a finger.
  25. my safe came with the electric plug build in, so all i have to do was add the golden rod.  for me it is the best way to go.  if you are looking for a new safe i would call parker's safe.  he is down the road from you.  you can get his phone number off the site here.  he will spend the time talking with you to help fit your safe needs.  good guy to deal with.
