  8. i try to ride it several times each year.  not far from the house and makes for a good weekend.  get a hotel across the mountain and have fun all weekend long. good riding roads all around and good food if you were to look.
  9. count me in.  let me know when and where.
  10. i reload so I don't buy ammo except 22 lr.   when the 500 round bulk pack went sky high I stopped buying.  I am glad that I had a bunch of 22 lr before the price went up.
  11. went by today and they still had ammo up front.  seems that the buying has slowed down.  no one was up front buying ammo and it looked like they still had a lots.
  12. i have not had any in years.  don't know why, i should because i am in the woods all summers. when i was a kid they loved me.  got them all the time.
  13. read history.  you will see things like what is going on now.  we are heading to a bad place.

  15. most people that you meet on the internet hates everything that is normal.
  16. good information to know.
  17. pawn shops that i have been in seem to be high on everything.  most of the items have been there so long that it has dust on it.  the gun and ammo prices are high.  most of the time it is a wast of time going in.
  18. nothing wrong with reloads.  i been reloading since 1973.  never had any problems.  now i do not shoot others reloads and i will not reload for anyone.  back in 1981 a old friend ran low on ammo during a hunter  pistol match in west texas.  i gave him a box of 9mm-357 mag  special match loads that we used in the t/c 357 mag pistol.  he shot a 40 out of 40 with my reloads. i shot a 34 that day.  some day i will do a write up on the 9mm-357 mag special load that we use for hunter pistol.
  19. low information voter put him there.  the food stamp group.
  20. coffee cans all ways works well.  the old metal can and the new plastic ones.  used them for many mango seasons for reloads and reloading items.  food grade buckets works well and have good handles.  they seal tight, no air in or our.  can pick them up at local food stores for around $1.00 for small (1 gal)  and $5.00 for large size (5 gal).   food saver bags work well, etc... the list goes on and i have used most of them over the  years.  all have worked with no problems.  army ammo cans are the best when the price was low.  but now the price of ammo cans have gone sky high.
  21. midway is not the best place to buy ammo.  it ok for reloading items if you buy several items to spread the shipping cost.  they do have one of the highest shipping cost going.

  24. when primers got hard to get i went with tula and/or wolf pistol and rifle primers.  never had any problems with them with either of my dillon 550 and/or lee hand primer.  to me they are just as good as other brands.
  25. what a great deal and a great gun.  i wish i could find deals like that.
