I have a .357 Rossi too that I like along with a few Winchesters. Plus a Marlin Model 39 Carbine made between '63 and '67 because those were the only years they made it.

Walmart Pulls Guns, Ammo Displays in U.S. Stores, Citing Civil Unrest

I will have to remember that. Of course with the new Gun/Auto/paint counter in one of our Wal-Marts, it is now wait for them to get done with the 8 people checking out at auto so they can go out the back door. Does anyone else have a Wal-Mart that made that counter setup change? -
We ended up with ZERO like usual. Pretty much normal here. First few years in the house we decorated a bunch, much to the horror rest of the street that thinks Halloween is evil. Over the years we just stopped. Since the rest of the street is a bust, it is a dead end next to a much larger, wealthier subdivision, and no one can see our house from the main road, we get no one. In about 20 years we might have had 10 kids. Part were family and I think 5 came one year. The apartments we lived in right after getting married had at least 50 every year. My kids are too old to Trick or Treat now. So my wife bought some of the pottery you paint and drop off to be run through the kiln. 3 of the 4 of us painted several Halloween themed items. Was fun. We did similar at Easter.

I am not a collector and think a gun should be shot. I do understand pure collectors and completionist types who want these to go in their collection of 100 other minute variations. That is good for them, but for most people these are no better than the first Mosin Nagant I bought a few years ago in an aftermarket composite stock for less than $150. Same thing goes for some of the CMP stuff. It is cool and has history, but it is only really valuable for its collectability.

On #1 I know. 95% of my stuff over the last few years has been P2P sales though. Just where I end up finding the stuff I am looking for. I rarely have time to just stop in at shops and gander at their inventory. I really wish I did. #2 - That is quite a haul for me. Probably would have to be an overnighter. lol -
If you had added this it would be 1599 Hang Tag, Imperial Eagle, & AZF Stamping +$400.00 Who buys this stuff????

I figure either way it goes, January will see lots of lightly used guns and ammo for sale as Christmas credit card bills come due. I feel bad for Newbies too because I can sympathize. I got back in to shooting and bought a .22lr a couple months before the great .22 drought. Luckily I had been picking up 4 or 5 50 rnd boxes every time I stopped in Wal-Mart. I still felt a bit panicked since that was the only rifle I had and my awareness of preparations I needed to have on hand had began to peak. So I did what I always do, I scrounged. I found places to buy ammo that were off the beaten path and ways to find it in stock before it sold out. Now is a different story. Lots of retailers are not even listing the stock on hand in stores. So unless you can stop by physically before it sells out, you are out of luck. For us working stiffs, that is harder to do. Things must not be so bad though. There were 40 boxes of 5.56 Hornady Black on the Academy shelf the other day. Or maybe it was the $17.99 per 20 round price tag that was keeping it glued to the shelf. lol

All depends on how much cash I have on a Walmart gift card. lol I used to buy gift cards from field guys at the construction company I worked for. Not as many Wal-mart because they could buy beer there, but some and lots of Cabela's, Academy, and BassPro. X% on the dollar saved me cash and turned the card they got from grandma into beer and tobacco money. I would have when they clearanced those rifles if I could have found a decent caliber. I do not like Wal-Mart, but me buying things at higher prices somewhere else is not going to make a difference either way. I do not buy enough through shops to make or break a LGS. Plus, I have not ran into any that seem overly eager for my business. Maybe I have just not found the right one yet. Well and I am a cheap SOB. -

On another board I am on people are seeing the same thing all over. I think it is stupid in places outside normal riot prone areas. Basically this just means that it would be EVEN HARDER to get someone to help you get something. I mean finding someone to help you at the gun counter is like a Where's Waldo normally. -
Man I would love to do a TX hog trip. Nice job. So what equipment were you guys using. Is that NV or Thermal? I have heard that anywhere hogs have had any hunting pressure, you have to night hunt or you never see them.

Dang it Now I have to have a lower made that says "Schroedinger's Pistol A pistol unless the ATF looks at it" Or something to that effect -

I sold off all the evil black rifles and pistols I had left after the boating accident and I have the lack of documentation to prove it. -
Just remember to get the $3.99 price you have to do a ACH electronic transfer from your bank, So basically your financial info is tied to whatever messages you send and potentially guns you buy

Add a couple inches of water to that bucket.. Some people have way too much time...

.357. I like .45, but the fact that you could toss some .38spl in there to use with the .357 is a bit of an edge to me. Also means if for sone reason you were stuck somewhere needing ammo, you have twice the optiins. And as far as speed of reloading, look at speed strips or speed loaders

I had some chocolate lavender stout a buddy brewed at home. Was surprisingly good.

Basically this scene sums Brazil up for me.

Blew the guys flip flop right off. I agree that I am not sure this is the best way to resolve this situation. I like my .308, but it doesn't come close to a .50BMG for stopping engines dead. I think the shot to the guys leg (?) was what really stopped the car, not the hood shots.

Or he is not in a bratty mood that day..... "I will sign it....I never said that...."

I agree, but I think it was a loose nod to the Matrix movie. I hope he has a backup if his internet is out and Alexa can't interface with his home automation.

SplashTop or other remote access software?? [locked out by TeamViewer]

We use Fixme.it at work. It allows the user to read you a user code and connect. So you can connect to almost anyone that simply goes to the site and clicks the link. I think it is like $300 a year though. You might be able to use it to get the initial connection to install what you need since it looks like they have a free trial. I see one called RemotePC that is cheap, but have no idea if it is good. I used to use logmein.com, but their price went from $ to $$$$$$$$ several years ago overnight, and they took away the free personal option. -
Oh, so that explains your face... Sorry it was too easy...
