No one said anything about wanting back hair...I have enough of that already. Lol I used to have a ponytail that hung to my waist. Those were the days....In the last decade, the more money I needed to make, the shorter my hair had to get.... Teach me to get married and have kids...

Non-Permissive Environments and Improvised Weapons

Are 'tactical' pens really worth anything in a fight? Thoughts on the "bulletproof" backpack panels, folios and clipboards? -
Question on brandishing and TN law
Ronald_55 replied to jgradyc's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
At best 4 guys sitting in a car on (what sounds like) public property constitutes loitering. Like above, if you are worried call the pd and report it. Say you saw the "See something, say something" Homeland campaign and want to do your part. Btw, I drove a crap car for a long time as I saved for a house and such. I never bothered anyone but was ran off from several parking lots while trying to catch a few zzzzs between classes and work. I did not sleep in my bed much during college but I came out debt free... The biggest take away here is if you fear because you live in a bad part of Nashville, change it. Either the place or your location. Passively aggressively "cleaning" your gun might just relocate you to prison. -
Dick's Getting Whacked, and Sales Sagging
Ronald_55 replied to QuackerSmacker's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
@QuackerSmacker Let me just suggest you buy the biggest safe you can manage to fit in your house as soon as you move in here. That way when you need a second one your spouse has had some time since the last one. I mean, if you buy this one, it might take you a whole 6 months to fill it. You know IL has just been holding you back. Just in case the pic leaves questions. "This gun safe weighs 4,000 pounds and is 10 feet tall, 6 feet wide and 4 feet deep. Will hold up to 300 guns or 144 tons of gold." -
Looks like a whole can of whoop a$$ to me...

Hey I am getting this too. I regularly get emails showing content I follow. Any ideas?

Or this just popped up in Mid TN from @dtmd https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/106954-enfieldsmithwesson-and-ar-7/?tab=comments#comment-1486775

I have a EAA Windicator in a 2" barrel that I bought off a member a while back. I like it. It works well and so far goes bang with any ammo. The key is patience. I picked up a .357 Dan Wesson with a shorter barrel a while back in that price range. I have seen other longer barrel models of various makers in that range, but I prefer a short barrel myself. There is a .357 blue Ruger GP100 on Armslist in the TriCities for $475 with case and holster. It all depends on how much you "need" it "now"

Dick's Getting Whacked, and Sales Sagging

I pass through one to get into the mall, but looks like all the people in there are doing that. They are not there to spend money. -

Wow that title. Dick whacking and sagging all in one breath.... The "stand" they made was posturing only. It changed nothing for them really except hurt business. Really though, I dont know many people tnat buy any gun stuff from them. -

I collected up links to some free Kindle books that fit in the survival category. If you dont have the Kindle app, you can get it from a link on the page. http://leveledsurvival.com/kindle-books/ There are lots of other free Kindle books on Amazon too. Good resource to use to carry books with you on a tablet or phone.

Well, I pulled that as a class 4 vehicle. Seems like there are discrepencies or wrong links on Wikipedia. My bad, just say 3 of them and call it good. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truck_classification

No more ordering knives for home delivery in UK
Ronald_55 replied to JAB's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
Nope, we might fashion weapons from the blender blades... I once argued with a German guy and he fought that gun/knife control was needed all the way until I asked if we should outlaw dinner forks... He kind of stammered and changed the subject... Some people will not be happy until we are all encased in pods under sedation..."for our own protection " -
Crap For perspective, that is like shooting this 30 miles... Guessing the projectiles are more aerodynamic though

We would still have found a way to have fun at your expense. Lol it's what we do.

Qc would have been better if he checked primed cases before filling and seating the bullets. The feeling I get is that his workers are not old hat reloaders. So checking each step could save time overall. Not from a reloading perspective, but a manufacturing one. I agree that he might deliberately sabatogue the Saviors to prove Rosita wrong. Even if he does though, he should be shot for making them eat canned sardine mac & cheese.

Dang it, why not? Lol I forgive a lot to enjoy the show. Sonetimes though it seems like those cartoons where the baby is crawling along on a ledge and miraculous boards and such just fall in to place to keep it from falling. Dumb luck only goes so far. The writers have plenty of creative input to get details close to right.
-
Sounds like a bit of touchy history there Even the new carbon ones are not like your grandfather's but are still better than 99% in similar price ranges.
-
I can't get excited about yet another caliber..... I have enough as is. But I am the guy that does not get real excited about the detail specs of the round. So many are so close that practically there is no difference in normal use. Now competition might be different.

I did sales for a bunch of years. Some retail in a western wear store and I even sold Kirby vacuum cleaners door to door for a while. It can be tough, but as @SWJewellTN said keep an open mind. Several times in the western store I had people come in all covered in dirt or worse. The other sales people ignored them. I figured I had to be there any way and helped them out. One time a guy came in asking to try on about 10 pairs of lower cost boots. We were slow, so I got him sizes of all the ones he wanted. When we got done, I figured I had a mess to clean up. He then says, "I will take these 6 pair" and paid in cash. So none cost a ton each, but together that was a good sale. He was a trucker and would buy a bunch at once and wear them until he only had one pair left, then go buy more. Another time a family came in with 5 kids. Dad looked like he just rolled around in a coal pile. I helped them get all 5 kids boots and other stuff. Turned out the dad was a miner. He paid cash and handed me a good tip on top of a good size sale. He said the other store in town would not help him. I swear his wallet must have has $2k in it when he took it out to pay. Never sold cars, I know they are a special category. Just treat people how you want to be and you will live through the idiots and rack up some sales.

Yep, they must have found all those illegal caches of weapons so many people seem to be scared of. Or you know, just converted them with a file, cause, you know, that is a thing....NOT!
-
Yeah, I know, but at the start tgey coukd have found stuff
-
I still raise the question about why it took people so long to start reloading. They are in GA, you know they should have found equipment and components. Plus how is Eugene reloading in a machine shop? Unless he is making all his dies, molds, and such first. That would be a lot of work for each caliber. Looks like @Omega beat me to this point. Lol

I sometimes think they introduce so many bills just to make it harder to track down what all of the bills are for.
