Coud Defensive MCH Mission Configurable Handheld
TGO David replied to TGO David's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
I've got two now: One with the EDC head and one with the High Candela (HC) head. I can't choose a favorite between them and use them depending on the situation. When I am serving at church on the safety team, I carry the HC version. The single output tail switch gives me an insane amount of illumination and throw with the tap of the switch. I can use the inherent "spill" to provide just enough illumination without blinding myself with splash-back, or put the full intensity of the beam onto a target or into someone else's eyes for effect. The EDC head is great for EDC and has the two-way tail switch. Like I said, I can't choose a favorite. They're both awesome for two different applications. -

Sad news, but thank you for passing it along. No matter how many times I encounter the passing of a member, it always gives me pause to reflect.

It is meant to protect you, the seller, from being too nice and too trusting. It's a necessary annoyance and has decreased the reports of people being scammed by fraudulent buyers to ZERO in the past 90 or so days. Prior to this being implemented we had a rash of TGO members being scammed out of hundreds of dollars by fraudulent buyers. I think the annoyance is worth it.

sale-or-trade 8 Fixed Blade Knives.PENDING

I have no idea what this is about, but the very fact that you're able to use TGO to buy and sell without a high chance of being molested by scammers, like on some sites, is directly attributable to the fact that we have a corps of moderators who do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Let me know if that's what is bothering you and I can help make a change for you. -
Like they say, the best time to have started it would have been years ago. The next best time is now.

I just wish they'd show as much care in disclosing who their sponsors are. Politics should be like NASCAR. I want to look at her blue suit and see the names and logos of corporations and foreign governments that are putting money in her bank account.

Lifetime membership no longer available?
TGO David replied to scatman's topic in Feedback and Support
It wasn't showing up for some folks. I had to fix some permissions that had gotten messed up in a recent software upgrade, so it should be showing for everyone again. -
I've yet to pick up a Spartan Harsey but it'll happen one of these days.

This thread is timely. I'm switching jobs soon, will be 100% remote (work from home) and am using the opportunity to rethink my home office setup. Larger screens with minimal clutter are going to be a point of order.

If the two parties involved want to send me copies of the exchange of messages between them, I will be glad to sort it out. But I'm going to need some tangible proof of what happened on both sides of this issue because I can't just go off of hearsay. Thanks.

I've cleaned up this thread. As a reminder, there are rules for participating in our Trading Post.

I wouldn't. They complicate your holster options, I've seen them break off of the gun before, and there is really nothing that they offer that can't be accomplished by improving your grip onto the gun with a little trial and error.

I think you might have been suffering from confirmation bias when you saw those photos and interpreted them to mean that he's a Trump supporter. Dressed like Waldo from Where's Waldo and standing at a Trump Rally? That looks like a socialist Antifa soy-boy peacocking for his buddies on social media. Draped with a Trump flag, using it as a cape, acting like a moron? Possibly a Trump supporter but more likely just another form of clowning for his circle.

Glock Gen 5 Trigger Upgrade—Everyone is out!!
TGO David replied to phiferran's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I wanted to mix things up and try something other than the Zev Pro curved face trigger that I've been using in my G19 for a few years. I bought one of the Tyr triggers from Glockmeister via eBay and honestly like it better than the Zev trigger. It's more of a flat face trigger with a slight protrusion at the bottom to keep your finger aligned on the blade. I remember when Damon at SSVI first came out with the Tyr trigger and thought it looked cool. I guess he's sold the design to Glockmeister and they're producing them now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144535332591?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=UgIAiNOxQwq&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=udSyTTHdS5S&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY -
P226 Firing Pin Removal, help, please?
TGO David replied to scatman's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
You're probably going to need a short punch to make it work and you may still end up buggering the drift pin itself. https://amzn.to/3OnB1mU -
This fortune was in the bottom of a home test. I guess it means the test is OEM, straight from the manufacturer?

Travis, over at Shop Nation, is going to be producing these enhanced dust collector attachments for that Ridgid miter saw that I linked above. I've got a few other things that he designed and 3D printed, and they are all excellent quality.

I run 9mm for both. I will run somewhat cheaper FMJ for the range, but I zero my optic for the carry ammo and just work out the hold-over for range ammo.

Nice to know about a semi-local (to me) resource. Thanks for passing this along! -
