  1. It ain’t a Colt if that’s what you’re after. You remind me of my father. Knows what he wants, but too tight to pay for it. Quit beating yourself up and go get a Colt.
  2. Not unless you ran a red light. I don’t recall any red lights on I-40.
  3. Dude is now my hero.
  4. I forgot about meeting you. LOL!
  5. I’ve had great luck using GOC. Being computer illiterate, resizing photos to their spec remains the greatest challenge to me. I’ve found LSN to be useful as well.
  6. Very little difference between the two in real world applications. Same case; one bullet measures .308 diameter while the other measures .284. Let him choose.
  7. I didn’t intend to offend anyone, but should have seen it coming. I just do not understand why our society elevates athletes, actors, etc. to sainthood status or beyond simply because they have a specific talent. I’ve not seen it mentioned here that one of our planes went down in Afghanistan a few days ago. It was barely mentioned in the news.
  8. Imagine how great a place this would be if people thought half as much about the death of Jesus as they do this clown.
  9. I've got to get down there and check this store out! Thanks.
  10. So you’re saying I should remove my kids from my auto insurance policy? That sure would save me some big money! Sorry, but I am not buying it, or else you and I misunderstand each other. All I’m saying is that when my children received a driver’s license, my insurance agent added them to our policy as a primary driver to whatever vehicle I chose. If this was an option or merely a suggestion, I was not informed. This also came with a giant bill each time.
  11. Dude, if you have children with a driver's license, they'd damn well better have their name on an auto policy somewhere.
  12. What would the agent have said if grandson had never had any auto insurance?
  13. I wondered why I got a flier from them in the mail a week or two ago. I guess this explains it.
  14. I’ve never regretted paying the price for a quality arm, but have regretted on multiple occasions buying junk.
  15. Who’s wearing the pants in this outfit?
  16. They make extended butt pads and strap on cheek pieces for ARs. An AR is pretty much an AR as far as fit goes. I am about average height, but have an AK with a thick recoil pad on it to increase length of a pull. Those Chinese fellas are pretty slight of build.
  17. 71 Barracuda with 60k original miles. Bought it when I was 14. I loved that car.....but ran across a 67 Chevy II I liked better.
  18. It is my understanding that the kid has to be assigned as the primary driver of a particular vehicle. Supposedly the one he drives most often. If the need to file a claim arises, I don’t want any crap about said kid not being assigned to the correct vehicle.
  19. When I got old enough to drive, my father was driving a Corvette. He leaned that since it was high risk, and me being a 16 year old boy was high risk, he put me as the primary driver of the Vette. I had a 67 Chevy II that would smoke his Vette, yet my insurance was $68 for 6 months. No idea why he was paying for his. I don’t think you could do this in today’s market. Fast forward to today...I have two teenage boys, and their vehicle insurance looks like a mortgage payment.
  20. Our local high school parking lot is full of them. I guess it's a status symbol among teenage redneck boys. I think the reason for the law is that a lot of heavy duty pickups are used to pull trailers, and whether they are pulling a trailer or not, uniformity isn't a bad thing, It would suck to have to relocate the tag every time you hooked or unhooked a trailer.
  21. Sums up my feelings on the matter pretty well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Mast An impressive young man for a congressman.
  22. Most law enforcement are anything but legal scholars. I expect this guy was tired of being pulled over and harassed. I bought a pop up camper from a guy, and he gave me a copy of the law stating you didn’t have to put a tag on a pop up camper. He was insistent that I keep that paper in my truck. I never had an issue, but am willing to bet he did.
  23. You'd be fine assuming the "combustion chamber", for lack of a better term, is of the same volume.
  24. I caught part of that interview, and most of it went right over my head.
  25. Done and bump.
