The documentary instead paints as him a nut job. And since Marvin isn't with us to dispute anything that they say, they get away with it.
-
What question is that?
-
Nope. And the death toll isn't high enough given the amount of damage. Terror attack just doesn't add up. Government negligence and ineptitude makes all of the sense in the world.

Why do all of you Form 1 junkies feel it necessary to crap on other people? You don't know his situation or setup. Maybe he doesn't have a trust and doesn't trust some fly by night internet lawyers to give solid legal counsel. Maybe he got a better deal on the YHM Mite than he could have possibly gotten on a Form 1 can. Just be happy for the man and move on. Go preach to someone else.

Chuck, please feel free to reach out to me directly if you would like to go over the processes in detail. I live in Raleigh so I'm just over that pesky city line and I have completed a few in state transfers and have one pending right now.

I haven't seen any credible news source with information that it was a terrorist attack. It wasn't a fireworks factory but the warehouse that burned could have easily had fireworks in it. A fire started in warehouse 9 of the port area. It spread to warehouse 12 where the ammonium nitrate from an abandoned ship had been stored since 2014. I posted a pretty detailed account of that debacle a few posts back.
-
Bingo. A fire in warehouse 9 spread. Here is some information about how the ammonium nitrate got there. And a note about the local food situation. They are already having a hard time economically. This is going to kill many more for secondary and tertiary reasons. Australia has already pledged a large financial donation. Greece is working on sending money, supplies and people and the EU nations are working on sending relief workers and possible aid.

Chad Nichols has been down there forever. And Chad hosted a lot of events down there. Well a few years back Les George and Brian Fellhoelter were both looking to move and both of them moved to Mississippi. Brian went a little further south though. Memphis has a ton of great custom makers within a few hours drive.

Most of what Les makes is. Seriously, if yall are into knives, keep an eye on Les' store and be ready to buy. You won't be sorry. Also, he isn't far from us down in Blue Springs Mississippi.

If yall ever want something a little fancier, made somewhat locally and by a former Marine, you can't beat Les George's V14. https://georgeknives.bigcartel.com/product/commando-dagger

A2 Front Post Taper Pin Removal Issues (HELP)
Capbyrd replied to Hammer285's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
If you end up replacing the barrel, let me know what you want for it. Regardless, here is a video on taper pins. The key is to use a punch larger than the pin head. You put the punch over about half of the pin head and give it a good solid whack. That frees it and then you can move to an appropriately sized punch to remove them the rest of the way. -
".280" not a 280...243, 220 Swift? Ideas?
Capbyrd replied to 19_A_CPT's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
I know you already figured it out. But do it yourself. It's very simple, nearly impossible to mess up and fun! -
Your eyes are better than mine. I still can't make out the humpback even though you told me it's there.

Last year Walmart clearances out a Nightowl 4 camera system for 75 bucks. I bought one. I have been happy with it. Although remote access is slow. Slow to the point of being unusable for anything other than live feeds. If I need to go back through something, the interface in the DVR is the way to go. The cameras are hardwired which I prefer and unlike Dave was mentioning, the power is all done at the DVR so you don't need power at each camera. Personally, I don't want a cloud based service. I don't like cloud storage for anything, especially camera views of my house. I don't use home assistants because I already have a phone listening all of the time and that's more than I want. I also don't want monthly fees and don't trust the cloud services to not change their policy down the road to include monthly fees.

Mother loses leg after getting shot in the leg
Capbyrd replied to ironsniper1's topic in General Chat
"Mother loses leg after getting shot in the leg" Well that makes a lot more sense than "mother loses leg after getting shot in arm." -
You can put a hand stop on a pistol. You can put an AFG on a pistol. You cannot put a VFG on a pistol.

I'm not talking about whatever rules they are making up for the current situation. I'm talking about the actual purpose of the mask pre-pandemic. Surgical staff don't wear PPE including masks to protect themselves from your nasty insides. They wear the stuff, including the surgical mask that a ton of people are wearing now, to prevent parts of them from getting into the "sterile field" (their patient." Again, I am neither promoting mask wear or denouncing it. I am merely applying definitions to words.

You ever find your way to Memphis I have a craftsman from the 50s ish that I would let go of. I have zero experience with Wen products. But Ive seen a lot of them popping up lately. They seem to come out of the same Chinese factories as harbor freight and other cheap china stuff but are getting some pretty good reviews. I'd give them a chance if I had to. He talks about it in the history of Grizzly video. Good watch.
-
Well they are preaching frequent hand washing and distancing and what not. People just can't hear that over their mask bias.
-
How do you know they aren't? I'm not saying wear a mask or don't. I'm only trying to correct this incorrect notion that surgical masks are to protect you from something. That simply isn't how they work.
-
SURGICAL MASKS ARE NOT INTENDED TO PROTECT THE WEARER FROM ANYTHING!!!! SURGICAL MASKS ARE INTENDED TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT FROM THE WEARER!

I'm not competing yet but I fully intend to make it up to a match or two.

F1 suppressor, in progress
Capbyrd replied to 13JFO's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Like I said, I wasn't talking about the ATF. They KNOW me. I was talking about the companies that ATF will raid and shut down the first chance that they get. -
F1 suppressor, in progress
Capbyrd replied to 13JFO's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Oh I'm not talking about the ATF. I'm talking about the "solvent trap" company. ATF hates 80% suppressors and will eventually find a way to raid them just like they did with that 80% ar receiver company. When they do, I don't want my name in the customer records.
