  1. most places I have seen offer coating service for the cut areas or complete slide. For the cost I would rather just pony up the money and get it coated and not have to worry about it rusting.
  2. I know Royal Range does slide milling, don't know anyone who has had it done there but they do it. Personally I would go with the RMR/Holosun footprint, seems to offer the most options.
  3. If you are building one just to have a "big bore AR" why not go with the biggest and get a .50 Beo?
  4. I’m really excited for this one, I listen to a lot of the “big” 2a podcasts off and on and shooters nation was always the only one I could get through every episode without an issue bring back lark mancaster!
  5. doesn't hold a candle to my 16" Heritage meme gun. https://www.kygunco.com/product/heritage-manufacturing-rr22ch16-pvd1-rough-rider-22lr-16-ch-finish-6rd-pvd-gold
  6. I think @TGO David is holding out and building content to sell to Spotify in 2022. I could be wrong though
  7. watching him get grilled on the stand was painful, I don't think many people are prepared/capable of not getting grilled by professionals and them trying to cross your words and thoughts for hours at a time. I know at 18 I definitely was not. Regardless of the outcome, definitely opened my eyes to what could occur if one was to ever be in a real self defense situation.
  8. I am big fan of Mckinatec kydex for my 365XL, they have an OWB option as well just a looong lead time (likely will get here by the end of winter). I just ordered an OWB from northwest concealment that should be here pretty soon.
  9. the rimfire modification crowd always amazes me. seems like a very deep rabbit hole of financial ruin!
  10. Triune saddle shop has been my go to for the past couple of years.
  11. Just today I did my annual half a tank run of my wen 2KW inverter generator. Have only needed to use it a handful of times but starts after a couple pulls every time I have needed it. I keep 10 gallons of ethanol free gas with sta-bil on hand in the event I need to run the freezer or a small heater if need be.
  12. Not the ideal position for a backup mag, but better than at home in the safe?
  13. got my TLR7-Sub from Primary arms last week for $99 and the left switch works about 50% of the time if you push real hard. Hoping I can get a replacement, although I am still waiting for my holster!
  14. mckinatec holsters will do it. I have the exact setup you mention on order with them, long wait time but worth it. I use one of their non-light bearing holsters daily and have been very impressed.
  15. I did the exact same thing even ditched the romeo zero dot for the 507K. Last piece of the puzzle for me is finding a TLR7-sub for it.
  16. I have never seen anything that is for less than a 1" tube. Might be easier to get a ring for one of the 1" tube lights and throw the light with the ring in your bag if you don't want to carry. getting something affixed to your pistol quickly that will withstand recoil is going to be hard to find, this would allow you to get a light quickly while maintaing grip and holster options. https://skdtac.com/thyrm-switchback-reg-2-0-large-flashlight-ring-sb007/
  17. I had one and sold it for around $400 if I recall with an OWB holster, and a handful of mags. The sight is worth around 150. They have shot up in price over the last year like everything so I wouldn't be too keen on the $400 as a benchmark. I do know that the threaded barrel is very hard to come by as only preppergunshop has them and they are over $100 by themselves, you could easily sell that on the canik forums.
  18. Why not get the slide milled on one of your existing 19s and throw a holosun 507 on it?
  19. Royal Range has a couple of these in stock for $1149
  20. How used are these goats?
  21. I am a big fan of the ferro concepts slingster and the edgar sherman slings. Both are pretty simple 2 point slings with quick adjustment capability, my pick between the two would be the slingster, just be advised the metal adjustment buckle will rub against your upper/optic.
  22. your best bet is to refresh the aero precision blemished page 24 hours a day to snag lower/uppers/rails. They go within minutes of being posted so you gotta be fast or lucky.
  23. I'm a big fan of the patagonia lightweight shorts. Maybe not as durable as some of the duluth options others have called out, but the breathability is worth it to not fight swamp a$$ all summer.
