My wife calls me a fuddy duddy all the time. I think lots of parents don't talk to their kids enough to have any clue what sort of slang they use. We fuss at our kids pretty regularly for poor pronunciation.

Only our government could come up with something so confusing. I've never understood why there is a thing called an SBR and why it's on the NFA list.

I got glasses in the 5th grade. Got contacts a few years later. That's been a good 25 years ago. I take mine out every night and wear glasses when I'm being lazy around the house (like right now :) ). I'd love to get LASIK at some point but haven't been able to save up the money. I know a bunch of people who've had it done with good success. My best advice is to keep your lenses clean. When your eyes get tired or dry, take them out and give your eyes a rest.

So if I did the math right, that's about 85 pellets per shell.  I'm no expert, but that sounds plenty significant to me. 

A Christmas Story.  I have a sneaking suspicion I might find "The Ref" in my stocking, but being that's not a movie for kids, I doubt I'll have time to watch soon after Christmas.  I hope to see the new Hobbit movie in the theater as well.  Otherwise, it's the typical Bond flicks and/or a football game.

Call all the local shops.... Bills Outpost, Farnsworth's, Predator, Volunteer Ordinance.... surely someone has a couple on the shelf.

Once the barrel starts to rust, it can be very difficult to make it completely stop.  Kinda like rust in a car, once it gets beyond a certain point you can't really stop it without just replacing the panel.  The only thing I'd suggest is to run several oily patches prior to storage.

Seems to be Dish's SOP for contract negotiations.  Also gives Dish a way to gauge the value of a particular channel....  more people complaining = more valuable channel.  I just wish they'd offer channels a la carte, or perhaps break it down into much smaller groups of related channels.  I'm glad it offers a user customized guide so I only see the channels I want to see and don't have to scroll through page after page of crap.

Got their rear sight on my rifle and plan to get one for wifey's rifle too. Works fine.

That's great progress with diet alone. Please see a doc before jumping into any sort of exercise program more strenuous than walking.
