No, they become single over and over through mate suffocation. :)

"Honey, how come you don't ever let me get on top?"

The worst part about that picture, is that the ones that choose to comment on it, do you have to quote it so it will reappear?? :P I mean dang.

I snore, bad, but I also know how bad my father and grandfather snore. If my woman snored... Nothing a good Wal-Mart bag cannot fix. No, but for real, if the only thing that bothers you about her is that she snores, either fall asleep first, go to the couch (don't send her) or buy some earplugs.

If his pimp hand is strong enough to send her to the couch, then the more power to him! ;)

If I sent mine to the couch, in about 10 minutes, I wouldn't have a bed... or breath for that matter, I'm not scared of her, but she'd kill me.

nasal strips are not going to cure snoring. The noise is not from the nose...

Well, if it lets you breathe through your nose and not mouth, it might.

Every snorer that I know is doing breathing through mouth, including me, by all reports.

Dude,if that's the biggest complaint you have with your significant other (to be p.c.) you're so incredibly blessed you ought to be putting $100 a week in the collection plate!Does she shoot with you or give you grief over owning guns? Is she unfaithful? A spendthrift that keeps you in debt? Yes:having a partner that snores can play hell with one's sleep & that does get old,but I'll trade places with you & throw in a couple'a guns to boot.

Get an extra bedroom for when you're worn out.

CLSutton21: If you have medical insurance she can undergo a sleep study to see if she has sleep apnea. She can be prescribed a CPAP [continuous positive air pressure] machine that will take care of the problem. The sleep study costs about $2-3,000 and a CPAP machine costs about $350. We have several sleep centers/specialist docs in Chattanooga as will any mid-sized town.

Steelharp: Yes it can. She can't be but 450lbs. I looked after a guy in ICU who weighed 650lbs and smoked through a tracheostomy tube. Talk about a death wish. He wanted to be the fattest man on the planet but [unsurprisingly] died at the age of 32 weighing a mere 680.

It could be worse- my wife is such a light sleeper that I get bitched at if I breathe hard while she's sleeping. Now I see why some couples actually sleep in separate rooms.

I was going to bring up the sleep apnea thing, too. I sometimes snore, myself, especially on the rare occasions when I end up sleeping on my back, but there is snoring and then there is SNORING. When we were first married my wife snored so loudly that I would have to go to another room to get any sleep. Forget going to sleep first - her snoring would wake me up. Thing is, she'd sleep eight hours (or more on weekends) and still never feel rested. She finally had a sleep study done and they found that her breathing stopped more than 200 times in one night. I think mostly it was a case of breathing stopped and then started again almost immediately but still stopping breathing 200 times is stopping breathing 200 times.

Remember that Reggie White - a big, tough guy - died as a result of sleep apnea. Whenever my wife nods off without wearing her CPAP, I wake her and tell her to, "put her nose on." With the CPAP, both of us get to sleep better because she doesn't quit breathing and, as a bonus, doesn't snore when using it. If we go camping in a place that doesn't have electric hookup, we use a deep cycle battery and a converter so that she can still use her CPAP.

In my eighteen years of marriage I find that I can't sleep when my wife is away on business trips because I miss her snoring. To me it's just another ambient noise, but I miss it when it is not there.

So, when she's away, your girlfriend doesn't snore, either?
