Well, it's not that bad here in Nashville today. Saw 3.49 at most of the common gas stops in the Madison area, but go 2-3 miles away and 3.37 on Dickerson Pike.

The real way to deal with this is to elevate and drain the hose (with pump cut off) to squeeze out that extra penny. It will not show up on the dial.... but you'll know the numbers are even. ;)

That's funny as hell. I spent exactly $30 on gas the other day and was pissed when I got 8.002 gallons.

I would have gladly given up 0.002 for the peace of mind that I would have felt.
