Gunbroker deal of the week

I have to say, I am totally against any form of gun control or anything that goes against the 2A. But I feel, after seeing this, from now on, when you go to buy a gun, you should have to take your current gun with you. Especially if it is a rare collectors item like this one. The LGS, big box or FFL doing your 4473 needs to ask to see your gun. If it looks like this, checking yes on Box f should be mandatory.

Saw this on the AIM forum at Arfcom regarding this ad, it was mentioned that not only are trigger guards not necessary, but apparently sights are pretty much optional too.  A reply:

"My guess is our seller is a southpaw and the sights are "strategically placed" along the left side of the slide..." followed by this:

The math doesn't add up ... Rtf upper maybe $250, lone wolf barrel $100, 7 mags $125 or so, other misc parts maybe $50. Frame is likely worthless although glock is pretty customer friendly ... Might be able to send it back to them for (merciful) replacement.

They've been putting trigger guards on firearms for, like, 400 years or something like that. Good to see someone challenging the establishment.

But seriously, if you tried to holster that you'd shoot yourself, every time. It would still be stupid and unsafe even if it had a safety, but it doesn't so it's like a guarantee that you will shoot yourself. Where would one come up with such a stupid idea?

That's nowhere even close to being true. ^_^

No? I'm not good on my firearms history, I just remember seeing old ass blunderbusses depicted in pilgrim folklore. That was a long time ago.
