Hypothetical, What Would You Do in a Situation Like Ferguson

79 members have voted

  1. 1. What would you do if lived in a area like Ferguson, MO, and riots broke out and continued for days?

    • Hunker down, stand your ground, AR by your side, and break out the MRE
    • Finally, grab the infamous BOB and get out of Dodge?
    • Do nothing!
    • Organize your neighborhood stand your ground force

Another live feed, been going on for hours already. People throwing rocks off overpasses, shooting close to a McDonalds and "peaceful protestors" are throwing stuff at cops and the first responder can't even get to the victim, large group of people fighting in another area......Black version of Jerry Springer, except their actions are affecting every citizen in the country. Don't want the Guard coming in, quit rioting/acting like idiots and breaking the law!

What were they protesting in Murfreesboro?

More of a sympathetic protest to what's going on in Ferguson, MO.

It was a small as those pictures make it seem.  I wasn't exaggerating when I said I could count a Murfreesboro PD officer for every person marching.

There are thousands in Ferguson tonight. It's going to be bad I'm afraid come curfew time. Last night in the rain it took 2 hours (after curfew) to get a couple hundred people out. Tonight will not go that well and more crowd for a coward shooter to shoot at a cop and run without having return fire put back at him.

It cleared the street earlier but they all came right back. Now they turned it back on. Absolutely crazy ! !

Makes note to self to take jumbo pack of ear plugs should protesting be on the agenda. Edited by tnguy

Little more drama... one of the cops apparently threatened to shoot the live stream camera man for turning on the light. Oops

And right after that on another feed, a guy said he was going to burn down the police station. Way too much fuel with only one mistake needed for fire!

Not good...  It's almost like somebody read the book on how to get the government to over react... and the government is falling right inline.

I question how so many shots can be fired 'at' the police, yet not a single officer, vehicle or nearby item has a bullet hole in it?  I understand that gang bangers probably aren't the best shots...  but for this to be believed it takes not hitting the broad side of a barn to a whole new level.

The optics look bad no matter how you slice it...  Officers wearing camo pointing rifles directly at protesters who have their hands up in the air yelling don't shoot...

First rule when the state troopers took over.. no police officer is allowed to respond wearing anything other than standard patrol uniform...  camo/bdu's not allowed - I'm not  suggesting that shouldn't be wearing their protective gear only talking about the uniform.  No more plainclothes either...
