  2. I've run the same bear off from my deer feeder a couple of times this morning. Honestly, I don't mind the thing coming around for a little corn, I enjoy seeing bears and think they're beautiful animals. But "something" knocked my last feeder down and tore it up, probably the same culprit. My wife spotted it early this morning, so I went outside and yelled at it to get it to leave. He came back an hour or so later, so this time I put a few .45 rounds into the ground, and he left much more quickly than the first time. My neighbor has a small corn plot, and he told me that he went outside one morning and found a bear sitting on its butt, taking an ear of corn, eating it, then scootching down to the next stalk for the next ear. I'd have liked to have seen that. So, apart from not feeding the deer at all, is there a good strategy to deter bears from the feeder? I've thought of a low electric fence, but my wife and I enjoy seeing the deer and we don't want to discourage them. Maybe I should anchor the feeder's legs into the ground with concrete to make it harder for Yogi to tip it over.

Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. 7. Agree 100% about the importance of investigating the specific weapons involved the recent incidents. My main point was that many people may well fall into a third category: a man might think that if he tests the 320 he owns under circumstances where a different 320 discharged and cannot easily duplicate an uncommanded discharge, then no other 320 could ever have an uncommanded discharge - and all problems with the model must result from user error. That, of course, is illogical. I don't have enough info for me to determine whether there are faulty 320s being produced. But I do have enough info to have serious concerns about the conclusions a judge or jury might reach if I chose to carry a 320 and then had an uncommanded discharge that caused death or injury. The Ruger model I own isn't known for similar issues, and that's one reason I choose to carry it. To each his own, though. Anyhow, I really hope we learn definitive answers soon about these incidents with 320s.
  8. True about the PF9, but that really was the proof of concept of the micro-compacts that dominate the CC market these days. They did the same thing with the .380 pocket pistols of the generation before with the P3AT.
  9. Never got together with interested buyer from a far away land in East TN. Bump
  10. I have multiple that I will continue to use. But I also understand their double internal safety system and how their system works. I am comfortable with what I know about Sig. That could change if some actual data comes to light. I am not looking to buy one if that is what you are asking. but that is more of a storage issue than an sig issue.
