As someone who also came to faith at a later like he did (and to the same tradition as well), I find that he is especially adept at transmitting certain truths in just the perfect manner. If you are a fan of both Lewis and Tolkien, I cannot recommend “A Hobbit, A Wardrobe, and a Great War” by Joseph Loconte enough. It’s about their friendship and how their faith and experiences in WWI deeply affected them both.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe might be one of my favorite movies. I resonate with a lot of C.S. Lewis' writing.

Man killed at Salt Lake "No Kings" protest

I was saying this very thing to my wife- I noticed an awful lot of people there that are at least as old as I am if not older- There isn't enough money in the universe to get me at a action such as this- Those my age and older should stop and think of the real reason they are there in the first place- There are way too many that are believing the lies put out by leftist media- I would think that by the time you are old enough to start using Metamucil you wouldn't be foolish enough to believe everything you hear- And shame on your old ass for getting involved in stupid crap like all this in the first place- -

I only had 1 job and 2 employers for 39 years before my health forced me into disability and Social Security. When I came home from my tour of duty I went to the United /Delco school in Memphis and got a degree in automotive repair came home got a job doing automotive repair. I loved my job and worked for my first employer for 14 years before he closed down and retired. I got my second job a week later for another repair center and worked for them till I became disabled and Went on Social Security Disability. I really missed my job as like I said earlier. I loved my job. The shop I worked at was a high volume shop and each day was a challenge as cars and light trucks where always changing every few years.

I believe you're thinking of George Orwell. Orson Welles is more known for his quote, "Is there any more of that pie left?"
