  1. Past hour
  2. Must have had a manual safety that didn't get moved to the fire position. Hard to see detail in the video.
  3. To be honest the pistol in the video did not jamb- It just did not go off-what gun does not even work on the first already chambered round-
  4. Heck of a setup. I'd love to hear the story sometime about giving up hunting with a traditional bow to moving to a compound with a 70# draw. You're tougher than me my friend.
  5. He is just not interested in the gun. Long story about their relationship, but sad as it is, it resulted in me getting the gun.
  6. Today
  7. Not sure who the bald guy was, but if it was Tom, no shock there. He can be a bit…what’s the word…abrasive. I used to shoot IDPA with a bunch of Rangemaster instructors back in the day and they seemed to be the only show in town who used the last hour or two of carry permit class to work with some of the newer gunowners and go over some basic skills, instead of keeping everybody there the mandatory eight hours by telling stories.
  8. So, maybe I'm missing something, but he hasn't even fired it and doesn't like it?? It's just based on what his dad did to it??
  9. I don’t own a Kimber, but I used to have one and I’ll never own one again. What a POS, but it was a sample of one. After watching more than a few of them burp, choke, puke, gag, and take a dump in numerous IDPA and USPSA matches over the years, I’ll DAMN SURE never own one again. The old ones seem to be good guns, but good luck finding one. FWIW, I didn’t see the gun jam in the video and I suspect the would-be shooter simply didn’t know what he was doing, but it’s always fun to rile up the Kimber fanboys.
  10. I gotta say it wouldn't be one of my Kimbers- I sure wish that this Kimber 1911's being a gun that doesn't work would die already- I have multiple Kimbers and they all work all the time- It's getting a little tiring hearing it over and over from people that don't own Kimbers- P.S. A cheap shot at something that's not relevant to the story-Actually looks like a Bersa-

  12. Chris Vittetoe....865-237-2547 Long-time smith. He has done a lot for me and my friends.
  13. If it's any help, I'll be driving up to Mt Juliet via Smyrna tomorrow afternoon & if you give me $2300, I'll drop it off for ya!
  14. you did good, I've thought about ordering one but the wait times are a killer for me and I only use Gun Broker to check out the guns I'm looking for that have are FFL's and then I either look the them up on a search to get the store information, or message them through Gun Broker about purchasing it directly from them to cut out the sales tax especially if it's above a $1000. It has worked out about 90% of the time for me.
  15. I recommend Jay Crowder of Elite Custom Gun in Sevierville. He used to handle all of Para Ordanances gunsmithing but dude has great general gunsmithing knowledge. Text him ‪(865) 235-4476‬ and ask if he has the time and know how, he's a straight shooter.
  16. Need someone that can put a 25 degree taper on a couple 300blk barrels. This is for running a Sig suppressor. Found someone in TX but have to ship there.
  17. He's great. Ive kicked myself for years for not knowing who he was when I was younger. I went into Rangemaster when I was 19 or so, and didnt like the way some bald, old guy kinda talked down to me while I was looking at 1911s; so when it was time to get my permit, I got it elsewhere. A few years later I start instructing, and realized he was offering some good advice from years of experience. Kids....
