Since you brought it up. Yes, finger dicipline is of utmost importance especially when holstering. However, clothing, elastic tightners around the bottom of jackets also must be certain to be clear of holster. With any handgun, but especially those that have had trigger work, amatuer or professional and reduced pull weight it is important to use proper technique when reholstering appendix position. I see it all the time with IDPA. One should slightly flex the knees, forward thrust the pelvis and slowly and visually place the gun in the holster. That will angle the muzzle away from the body and feet in the event of a ND body parts will be missed. Sloppy and fast reholstering is a dangerous event.3 points

Hey guys & gals, I’m offering up a duplicate from the safe. I have another one of these that I personally love. I picked this one up for my wife hoping she would use it as a bedside home defense setup, but she just doesn’t like it. She’s just a handgun gal and there’s nothing wrong with that. Having said that, I don’t need two of them. Up for sale here is a like new Ruger LC Charger in 5.7x28. It is in excellent shape and shoots very good, less than 200 rounds through this one. It comes in the original box with all original stuff. Also included with it is a Manticore Arms/SB Tactical sliding brace, KNS Precision finger stop, two +5 TandemKross magazine extensions, and 200 rounds of factory 5.7x28 ammo to get you started. If you don’t need the ammo I don’t mind to keep it and drop the price since I have other 5.7s, just thought since I have a bunch of it I would offer it in a package deal. Asking price is $950 for it all…this is much less than I have in it. Like I said I’m only selling/trading it as I have two of these and really only need one. As far as trades go, I’m kinda getting the 2011 bug. I would love to have a Springfield Prodigy Comp model or a MAC 9 DS Comp, and I’m willing to add cash on my end to even up a trade. I’d also consider Glock MOS models, optic ready M&P 9mms, Echelon 9mms, maybe even a Tisas 1911 DS. I would also consider higher end ARs or a PSA KS-47. I will consider other trades though. Hey Y’all, New member here! Recently moved to Middle Tennessee, up in Macon County. I have done numerous jobs in the past but most notable are Commercial Diver(Underwater welder) and Wildland Firefighter( forestry technician) for USDA Forest Service. Currently, unemployed. I grew up around a guns and have guns passed down from generations. I am looking to sell some I’ve picked up along the way and meet like minded folks in the area.2 points

The thing is it can be with the next Democrat controlled Congress. The culls woke them up to the issue, now we are caught if we don't get suppressors and Shorts out of the NFA.2 points

I always smack my mags hard to insure proper seating into the pistol. No sense taking a chance, IMO.2 points

90s cops negligently pulling the trigger on their 5 pound 1/2” trigger travel Glocks after transitioning from long-travel 14 pound DA revolvers that helped hide lousy gun handling habits is not the same as 320s going bang without the trigger being pulled. Not sure this is accurate - I don’t think WGP moved the trigger far enough to disengage the striker safety. Even if he did, what happened to the 320’s “double internal safety system?”1 point

Look like rabbit to me. I had to put chicken wire around my beds to keep them out. That won't work on the deer.1 point

We have hatchlings storming our feeders. Haven't had time to count but several new ones are showing up.1 point

Currently, I only have a Sig M17x, so part polymer, light, and no safety. As I mentioned above, I like to do draws and two shots and re-holster and run that for 5 - 10 rounds in a session. Again, I am very conscious of my finger, and it feels "safe".1 point

Welcome to the forum! Hope you like it here. I’m getting back into guns and shooting after a long hiatus, so always good to have more experienced members around. That’s a very interesting employment history! I’m sure you’ve got plenty of stories! Cheers!1 point

I wonder if that pics is from a Scout Master or similar. You could put a canister inside with the ingredients, fill the Igloo with ice and some rock salt, and at the end of the day driving kids and gear all around to different activities, he'd have ice cream in camp.1 point

I spent a little time on the internet looking for something that will do this. But no luck. I fly RC airplanes, and I have a the capability to do the remote part with a servo, but making that work with bear spray might be difficult. I did see some solutions that operate using WIFI, but my feeder is out in the woods with no WIFI out there. Yogi hasn't shown up today, maybe he's moved on to the neighbor's corn field.1 point

guess everyone has seen the Democrat proposal to take the tax back up to over $4K now, that adjustment for inflation that the Republicans could have stopped by knocking the NFA in the head... GOA and TFA are suing, but that will take 10 years and things will shift. Fact is only the Congress can make or remove laws, it is their fault, totally.1 point

In USPSA, while holstered, if the hammer is cocked, the safety must be on. If the hammer is decocked, the safety isn’t required to be on (and most pistols aren’t designed to operate that way anyway). If you want to run single action drills from the holster, you’d better get used to using the safety. Reholstering a cocked pistol is a recipe for disaster and you’re likely to have one sooner or later. Personally I always found the CZ safety too awkward to operate so I stuck with other designs.1 point

A friend wants me to go in with him and open a liquor store. I said I would rather have a gun shop. He said we can do both and call it “Firewater and Firepower.” Hmmmmmm1 point

I agree completely. I'll admit it, I've been a hold out on this issue due to my personal uncertainty concerning the validity of the claims. Early on, it was very plausible that these discharges could have been negligent or improper footing holsters or other factors... After they began to pile up it became something I could no longer ignore. I took my P320 (M18) out of my carry rotation, and didn't consider having it as a trusted bedside option. With this incident I will refuse to even consider it as a range gun. Selling it is like passing the buck to whomever bought it. I'm at a loss.1 point

An absolute travesty when someone who signs up to serve their country is let down by the equipment issued. Non-combat deaths are just as gutwrenching as the ones downrange. This Airman and his family deserved better. Any organization still using this pistol needs to wake up, fast.1 point

Depending on where it's sticking, could be a couple things. Possibly a sharp edge or burr on the magazine.1 point

These are wildly underrated pistols in my opinion, especially with the upgraded grip. This should make someone very happy, good luck with sale!1 point

I wouldn't sell because of any unconfirmed problems with the P320 platform. I am skeptical about the validity of the claims and have yet to see a video that clearly showed the gun going off in such a way that couldn't be explained by human error or a sloppy holster. Gun shops are still selling P320s. People are still buying P320s. Negligent discharges seem to be rare and seem to be... negligent. Until those things change, I don't see a reason to dump the platform unless you just want to do something different. For what it's worth, people still have negligent discharges with Glocks and other platforms too. You just don't hear about them because it doesn't feed into the drama.1 point

I think with ARs, you hit the point of diminishing returns pretty quick, say around $1500. A good quality barrel is the key and as long as the other parts are decent, I don't see much point in spending a premium on them. There are only a few major manufacturers of most of the parts, so I'm a bit jaundiced when it comes to the boutique AR market, especially when they're like "yeah other people make our parts but we QA them and put our name on them " and then not bother to actually do the QA / testing.1 point
