  2. When he voted to approve Timothy Geithner I emailed him to voice my disapproval of letting a tax cheat run the Treasury Dept. He wrote back that we should allow Prez Zero to have anyone he needs to get the economic system under control and said that Geithner was "most qualified." I wrote back, "With that standard, I believe Rod Blagojevich is qualified to be a Tennessee senator." He blocked my email from then on.

  4. Spots, it's a 5 1/2 hour trip. You need to make a weekend of it. If you've never seen Reel Foot, you're missing out. See a bunch of bald eagles, eat at the only restaurant in the country that's allowed to serve Crappie. Take a bundle, you will spend it in Dixie Gun works. Judging you by your posts, you like to see the trees through the eyes of a man that lived a 150 years ago, Dixie Gun Works is a Mecca for guys like you.

  8. Also a lesson in never trying to catch a falling gun. I'd rather have a marred finish than a hole in my gut.

  10. I recall a few years ago a video of a young man who had been harrassed by a police officer before set up a video camera and recorded a stop. The police officer went looney on him, then threatened to arrest him and make up charges. Like most videos of that nature, it went viral and made the national news. At that point I don't believe admissible matters. The damage done by such a release would send a DA running into the corner and severly damage any LEO agency attempting to push charges on you. I've seen stories of PDs issuing their officers body worn cameras to record interactions with th

  11. IANAL either but according to http://www.rcfp.org/can-we-tape/tennessee (notice every state is different like most gun laws) I believe we can. Besides they are taping it from their cars if they want to dispute it.

  12. You know, I read somewhere that one in five people in the world is Chinese. Well, it got me to thinking - there's five people in my family, so one of us must be Chinese. Now, I'm not sure, but I think it's probably my brother, Dean. Of course I guess it could be my brother Wong Fang, but I really think it's Dean...

  13. It's always a good idea to record interactions with law enforcement. Most phones and many MP3 players have built in recorders. And if it is laying there in plain sight face down no one will know. It could save your butt if you wind up with a corrupt cop.

  15. Bring it to Tn Gun Country tomorrow between 12 and 4:30 there will be two Glock Armorers there to look at it. Won't cost you a penny, plus replacement parts are available if necessary.

  16. A doctor looks for symptoms of an illness and makes a diagnosis, and then prescribes a medical solution to cure the illness. Democrats are just like quack doctors, and don't really know how to diagnose problems to economic and social ills that limit competiveness of a global economy. Two examples of snake doctor prescribing of economic and social ills of our country are the public schools, and the american auto industry controlled by democrats and unions. The health care industry is going be just like public schools and the auto industry, since it is controlled by Dumacrats. As long as Obama

  18. Thanks Dave The only statement with which I disagree-- "All of these crimes will increase when you legalize drugs." Substance abuse itself causes legion primary problems and we have already discussed many. Economic, health, social and psychological problems. All kinds of social and psychological problems. Maybe I could sit down for a day or three and tabulate a reasonably comprehensive list of all the social and psychological and health problems caused by substance abuse. Some of the substances are legal but they still cost lots of money and misery. On the other hand we can find thousands of

  19. They do, that's where we were going while in Knoxville. I think they have multiple cameras on the range. A lot of idiots in there... Last time we were there one of the guys was giving a lesson to other newbies on how his special model glock "never required cleaning" and he has his "special bullets that penetrate clothing and explode when they touch flesh"

  20. I always think about this when visiting a range. I don't want to be anywhere near when someone decides to commit suicide. The other thing at a range is that I wonder if the others there have been trained in the safe handling of guns. I don't want to see anyone else die and I certainly don't want to be the one to die or be injured because someone else can't safely handle a gun!

  24. If you're referring to me, I sold that gun a long time ago. It was my third and final attempt at forcing myself to like a Glock. If I wanted a gun with a grip of a 2x4 and a trigger made of gravel, I would buy a 2x4 and glue some gravel to it at a fraction of the cost.

  25. The complexion will change over time, but it does not "age" after being bottled. The alcohol evaporates at a faster rate than other liquids, generally leaving behind a smoother beverage. Storage is very important and plays a huge role, where taste is concerned, in older beverages. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch using Tapatalk 2
