  1. The rest of the story... https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2018/5/9/no-changes-ruger-responds-to-shareholder-proposal/ "Please understand that Ruger was obligated by applicable law to include a shareholder’s activist resolution with its proxy materials for a shareholder vote. With its passage, the proposal requires Ruger to prepare a report. That’s it. A report. What the proposal does not do ... and cannot do ... is force us to change our business, which is lawful and constitutionally protected. What it does not do ... and cannot do ... is force us to adopt misguided principles created by groups who do not own guns, know nothing about our business, and frankly would rather see us out of business. As our CEO explained, “We are Americans who work together to produce rugged, reliable, innovative and affordable firearms for responsible citizens. We are staunch supporters of the Second Amendment not because we make firearms, but because we cherish the rights conferred by it. We understand the importance of those rights and, as importantly, recognize that allowing our constitutionally protected freedoms to be eroded for the sake of political expediency is the wrong approach for our Company, for our industry, for our customers, and for our country. We are arms makers for responsible citizens and I want to assure our long-term shareholders and loyal customers that we have no intention of changing that.”

  3. Yes but she made a very interesting statement, That as a student at the university she couldn't carry, but now as a graduate she's a visitor and it's allowed. A very interesting delineation considering one is often required to live on campus for a period of time at many schools. . .

  4. Good for her. http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/05/17/kent-state-graduates-gun-photo-goes-viral-fox-friends-interview A recent Kent State University graduate is going viral for taking aim at her school’s gun policies in a photo shoot on campus where she carried an AR-10 and a graduation cap that said, “Come and take it.” Kaitlin Bennett, 22, posed in front of the Kent Student Center to draw attention to the "insulting" gun policies on campus that allow guests to open carry, but not students. Now that I graduated from Kent State, I can finally arm myself on campus. I should have been able to do so as a student- especially since 4 unarmed students were shot and killed by the government on this campus. I have no apologies for my graduation photos. As a woman, I refuse to be a victim & the second amendment ensures that I don't have to be. "If guests can arm themselves and protect themselves, I should be able to as well," Bennett said on "Fox & Friends."

  6. I signed up of half a dozen raffles Knowing good and well that I was going to end up on junk mail lists. This time I stepped in the well known pile of it and ended up with a quarter stuck to the bottom of my shoe. I signed up at Henry booth and sure and behold I won the $1100 Henry NRA lever action rifle. I've never had a rifle that looked this beautiful. The engraving is fantastic, the stock is a well fitted walnut. For someone that is going to be 71atthe end of the month, I'm as excited as a kid at Christmas.

  7. Looking for attention? Probably. Young and idealistic? Definitely. But again, if we don't join the conversation, we'll lose by forfeit. While I personally prefer anonymity, I wish there was a million others just like her.

  13. My mother recently bought a Ryobi electric, I used it today to clean the soffit under her porch. It worked perfectly and wasn’t half the pain that the gas one is. The thing I liked best about it was not hearing the gas motor running constantly. Prag, I believe an electric one will do anything you need it to do and if it won’t you can borrow my gas one. I plan on buying a Ryobi electric soon. Edit: this is similar. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-1-600-PSI-1-2-GPM-Electric-Pressure-Washer-RY141612/301004462p

  14. I think any of those would work fine for most needs. Don't know if you're as stingy with garage floor space as I am, but the Ryobi looks to have a really big footprint for a "small" pressure washer.

  15. I bought one a couple of months ago. I wanted to pressure wash my deck and have it around for when ever a project came up. I decided to go with electric. Small gas engines that sit for a long time seem to have problems. Electric washers are a little cheaper and are powerful enough for most suburban home needs. I had gotten a lot of mildew on my deck and the electric pressure washer did a good job. You might have to go a little slower than with a gas but it does a good job.
