I don't know. Thinking we've spent the last century sucking the Middle East dry of their only natural resource brings a smile to my face.

Took my scout rifle back out today and finished getting it dialed in. I’m very confident in my abilities with this rifle at 100 yards now. Also threw the can on to see what kind of shift I would experience. It’s about two inches low and an inch and a half right with the can. That’s not worth adjusting the sights and it’s easy enough to remember if I hunt with the can. You can also see @Chucktshoesrifle on the bench there That Montana and NightForce combo is an absolute pleasure to sit behind. I’d even go so far as to say that it can make this barely average marksman looks pretty decent.

A lot of great voices have come and gone in our time here.

Drill baby, drill! The truth is that we did it to ourselves these past decades, with all the prohibitions against tapping into our vast oil supply. I also never understood why we didn't raise the price on refined fuel and other exported commodities when OPEC would lower supply.

If the accused is found not to be a threat the accuser should have to pay for the accused defense and time lost. A hostile neighbor , relative or disgruntled employee can claim you are a threat for no good reason and cost you a chunk of money.

I took 3 friends from Spain shooting today. Two live here and the other was visiting the US for the first time(I think we gave him a proper TN introduction) It was actually his idea. We went to Shoot Point Blank and I brought my Glock 17 and Sig MPX. 200 rounds of 9mm-$80 Gas for the trip-$5 Watching 3 Europeans grin from ear to ear after shooting-PRICELESS. They had a ton of questions and did a great job listening to my instructions. I think they all preferred the MPX. When I first took it out of the case they let out a collective "ooooahhh".. I'm sure that means badass in Spanish.

I realize this is an old thread. I initially thought I was reading this wrong but it appears the south is about to get hammered with snow. Asheville NC is predicted to receive 18". Even Greenville SC may get over a foot which they are describing as a "once in a generation" record. Those of you in far East TN may have an interesting weekend.

Well, I didn't wake up to any snow but it's 33 deg. with a wind chill of 22. I hate to think what the temp would be if we didn't have this global warming
