  1. How old are the mags? Same issue with a new magazine? Depending on the style of the bullet, the shape of the bullet combined with a slightly weakened magazine spring could cause it. I’d try a new magazine, I’ve always had best luck with Wilson’s. Maybe switch to a different defensive ammo.
  2. KelTec hasn’t even hit 4 digit serial numbers for the PMR30 yet. I doubt they actually sold enough to be #5
  3. Closest I can think of is .32acp which is much lower velocity and 7.62x25 tokarev. Given how unpopular the .327mag is I doubt it will ever have a rimless variant.
  4. As a general rule of thumb, rimmed revolver cartridges don’t work well, if at all in semi auto platforms. Even for the few that do work, they aren’t multi cal like a revolver. Exceptions that come to mind are, Desert Eagle, Coonan, Ruger Deerfield. Deerfield uses a rotary magazine the others are single stack and somehow avoid rimlock. The Coonan is .357mag only no 38s for example.
  5. Debt is more of an enslaver than anything else. Government is a close second.
  6. Hamilton Bowen is in TN. Arguably one of the best smiths in the nation for the Ruger single actions. Not too shabby on S&Ws either.
  7. I bet they are comfortable. I’ve just never seen any for a Makarov before.
  8. Very nice! What kind of grip is that? Don’t think I’ve seen that before.
  9. On one hand I want to say I hate Christmas, but not what it truly is but the commercialization it has turned into.
  10. People who actually run a shotgun? No this does nothing. Rimmed cases and box magazines tend to not work so well together. It’s why we don’t see any quality AR-12 gauges. Its a toy, plain and simple. Check out Black Aces Tactical. At least I think they are still in business. They took bare receiver 870s and Mossberg 500s and installed 8” barrels, detachable magazine bottom metal, and stabilizing braces and sold them as “firearms” for the $2000 range. I’m betting this cuts into their sales. Id bet maybe 10%, probably less, of people who own a defensive type shotgun, know how to actually run it effectively. It’s a unique skill set.
  11. For the Christmas music to stop
  12. If you want every state to have federally mandated laws as bad if not worse than California, New York, Illinois, etc. then go right ahead. Things will get much worse, not better. Deal with it on the state level, don’t get the heavy handed feds involved.
  13. They always seemed the size of a 18volt DeWalt to me...
  14. We have a legal system and this is how it works. We haven’t had a justice system for a very long time.
  15. The 9mm and 40 models are built on the old 45 frame size. That’s how they get the extra capacity. I loved my XD45 so I got the XDM9 because of it being the same sized frame (I have large hands). Fit me so much better than the XD9s. It was a significant difference for me.
  16. This is the key. If you buy medical marijuana and you have a firearm purchased or transferred from a dealer, you lied on a federal form.
  17. Back when they were the current model, I bought a few, used (private transaction), for $425-450 at different times. All black though. The newer XDM is the current model now. If you are ok with that particular gun, I think it’s a great deal. I really liked that model, but have leaned towards 1911s and Glocks for my 45s as of late.
  18. I’ve been happy with their .223Rem for AR range ammo. Runs cleaner than American Eagle. Seems to be loaded pretty warm as well. And like others, I’ve been happy with their pistol ammo.

    1911

Freedom Group bought Para Ordnance, dissolved the company, and are now selling the Para double stack 1911s as Remington’s. It’s nothing new and will use Para double stack mags. If I wanted one, I’d try to find a used Para. After the disasters known as the RP9, RM380, and R51, I wouldn’t trust any handgun made by big green.
  20. I have had a Protech shipped directly to me as well. Microtech used to be notorious for being hard to deal with servicing autos.
  21. It’s Memphis...
  22. Depends on who’s holding it
  23. Regarding more attacks now than in the past, “The Strenuous Life” a speech by Theodore Roosevelt in 1899 is a good read. Essentially it explains how the human body operates best when physical stress is balanced with mental stress. Many people in modern times have immense amounts of mental stress and very little physical stress. High mental stress not balanced out with physical stress has created all of these mental health issues.
  24. Please explain how this is negotiating rights away. This is nothing more than feel good legislation, saying that they (Republicans) are compromising on gun control, when in reality it is just telling the ones responsible for reporting that they need to do what they are supposed to be doing anyways. I see no reason at all to oppose this, it changes nothing.
  25. I don’t know but since it’s not a “firearm” could it even be reported as a stolen firearm? In which case it would just be the serial number of a “item” on a police report somewhere. Not in a database, same as a serial number on a computer or anything else.
