It penetrates level IIIA body armor at 20 yards. And put a bowling ball size hole in the clay behind it. Pretty serious stuff.

From what I’ve read, it’s either a straight land and groove barrel good for 50 yards max, or a binary trigger where the semi function fires only on release and not pull of the trigger.

I have always used a 870 as well. No problems for me. I do have a soft spot for a good ole traditional SxS. Although very hard to find an American made one in decent condition that doesn’t cost as much as a good used car.

All Glocks since the Gen 4 came out come with 3 mags. Unless the dealer or distributor swiped them or something. Glocks have the whole magazine/parts/holster commonality & availability thing going for them, so there’s that.

This is already for sale and has been for awhile. It’s called their binary trigger. Search for it on YouTube, it’s all over there. But it’s in 16” carbines or pistols. Actually a couple of different manufacturers that do the same thing. One requires a proprietary BCG. Search Military Arms Channel NFA Nut kicker.

I saw that you have a thread on SN about it, I’ll leave my feedback there. Its already off to a much better start than Hard2Kill ever got to. I think SN is broad enough and appealing to a large enough demographic that it will do well. Better branding and mission statement as well.

I’m now realizing just how good the software we have here at TGO is! Several features the SN software doesn’t have that I have come to enjoy here on TGO. This seems to be taking off really well, you going to open up lifetime memberships in the future?

I haven’t shot one or even held one, but it seems the mag well and cutout in the bottom of the front strap is cause for lots of complaining for some online. Don’t know how much of a deal it would be and it’s likely different for everyone.

Very informative and very thought provoking. I have to ask though how much of this applies to the average citizen? This is obviously aimed at LE.

That’s what the binary trigger is. They have a kit to drop in a standard AR. Has 3 modes, safe, semi and binary. Binary fires one round on pull and then another round on release. I’m personally not a fan of it but it is out there and legal.

I read the comments on a blog about this and the most plausible explanation I can find is that it has a binary trigger without semi auto function. A rifle is defined as firing one projectile for each pull of the trigger. A machine gun is defined as firing more than one projectile for each function of the trigger. Therefore it falls between those two, legally. If it’s not a rifle it can’t be a SBR, and it’s over 26” OAL, so it’s not a AOW.

With the ad saying “Not a rifle, not a shotgun” I think you may be on to something.

Shouldn’t be anything. It said it was demilitarized. I highly doubt it could be made street legal drivable but shouldn’t be anything illegal about owning it.
