Unless it was a special edition military issue or something, it's a bit much. Black slide or frame would help a lot.

Think of the smell when doing burnouts on it!

When was the last time you saw a Packard on the street? Cars only last so long. Make sure you enjoy the one you have. Whether that's a frame off 100% restoration or a 57 Chevy done up pro touring style. Unless ss you are a multi millionaire you can't buy up all the classics and save them. And you can't tell other people what to do. I personally hate the low riders with hydraulics and rat rods. But I appreciate the time and effort and work that went into them and the owners enthusiasm. They are part of the car culture too.

The way things are set up now, you have limited options. It's a true monopoly. Solar is another option.

You're working on paying for your own personal ATF agent just in tax stamps! Very nice setup, I like that.

Location will make a big difference. Huge in this area(middle TN). Amenities make a big difference in price and can add up quick. Tiled in shower, recessed lighting, better cabinets, quality of floor coverings, type of trim work, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, light fixtures, etc. At 2,000sqft, you could double the price going from bare bones to luxuriously appointed. Also if you build and wanted home automation, I would look into having that installed when it was built instead of an afterthought.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with them expanding their product lines. It's not new, though. Just something different for Springfield.

Just seems like the XD is regarded as the red headed stepchild of the striker fired guns.

I'll get one if they make a XD45 Service or Tactical version. Have someone like SSVI stipple the grip to get rid of the grip zone BS. I like hammers better and have always liked XDs unlike most.

If you aren't the type of person to really keep up with the current law on a daily basis, you could very easily be either within the law or breaking it depending on what day of the week it is. It's getting a bit ridiculous. Just be easier to legalize SBRs and be done with it. That's all they really are anyways.

Not exactly apparel, but any chance of a TGO logo Swell bottle? Im in if they offer tall sizes. Otherwise, I'm stuck with just hats.

I did the opposite. Lived in the country all my life but moved to the city because of work. I took a good paying job, but working 10-12 hours a day and took 1 hr one way to drive to work and back. It was literally eat sleep work repeat. 6 days a week. City isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but still want to move back to outside the city limits but hopefully only 30-45min away now.

Castle doctrine, yes or no?
nightrunner replied to Kevinhil's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I don't know the code, but yes you can in fact carry a loaded handgun in your vehicle legally now. Law recently changed and most cops don't know established law much less recently changed ones. If a cop shoots you just from sight of a gun, there's a whole lot wrong going on there. -
While it wasn't exactly like this, I have had this sort of thing happen to me on TGO. I was selling a G27 and guy wanted me give me an additional $300 to drive it up to Brooklyn. First it was $200 extra to drive it to Philadelphia, then changed to $300 to Brooklyn. It was a few years ago but TGO is big enough we attract all sorts of people now.

It's a great can. Griffin makes good stuff. Pretty innovative. They have a 3-lug .22 suppressor. And a 5.56 can that fits a standard A2 birdcage.
-
I personally don't like it for the fact it's completely sealed. That means no lead bullets, jacketed only. And it's too fat for a pistol. For a carbine only with jacketed bullets it's ok but I think even the TiRant being an old design is better at nearly everything. not a bad suppressor though, if it fits your needs, go with it. I just feel it's more of a niche can than a general purpose pistol cal can.

Smallest 9mm you will find is the Kahr PM9 which is the same size as the MK40 but with polymer frame. The Rohrbaugh R9 is smaller but I believe they were bought out by Remington and are no longer being produced. .380 or smaller opens up many more options. Ruger LCP is the most common but there are many others. For super small, it doesn't get any smaller than a Baby Browning (.25acp). I'm also a fan of the Seecamp pistols for just a bit larger.

I'll be glad when today is over. Might just boycott the internet for the rest of the day.

For a .45 can, I really like the Dead Air Ghost 45. Can be run wet or dry, wiped or not, or full length or short configuration, or any combination of those. Alot of people really like the Silencerco Omega 9k, shortest 9mm can available and quiet, but fatter than I like at 1.47 vs most pistol cans at 1.375 or 1.25" diameter.

Unlike old Al, most of us here prefer to know what we are talking about before flapping our jaws. The quantum physicists haven't made it yet

Easier to blame faulty equipment than to admit fault in their training principles.

Question raised in carry permit class.....
nightrunner replied to CJDore's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
That would be considered open carrying after it was no longer concealed. 100% legal in TN with a permit. The instructor may think it's not OK, but it's not illegal. You have to either draw it from the holster or verbally say you will use it to be illegal. -
Drugs are bad mmkay?

.327mag just never caught on much. I really hoped and thought it would but hasn't yet.

Well there weren't that many made to start with. 2-3 inch barrel in a revolver period, regardless of caliber, would seriously restrict your options. The classic S&W J frame has a 1.875" or 1 7/8" barrel. Is 1/8" or .125" that much of a difference? 3" revolvers have always been somewhat rare and highly coveted, mostly due to balance and the shortest barrel length with a full length ejector rod and stroke for positive ejection. 4" is the standard service sized barrel length. What your looking for will be a rare bird indeed.
