I can see not liking an ambi-safety but a Glock slide stop? It’s so minimal to begin with and how could it possibly interfere with anything? I can definitely see the possibility of unintended consequences by cutting part of it off. What, I have no idea, but seems to me the odds are greater than leaving it alone.

Are you looking for full, commander, or compact (Officer) sized 1911’s? 9mm or .45? Rock Island Armory offers all three sizes in both calibers for under $500. They are generally excellent pistols and a great value.

Good ammo. WalMart sells 150 round boxes for right at $30 after tax.

Perhaps a Springfield Range Officer. There are several offerings in the family in both .45 and 9mm. Usually around $800 or less for the basic model. https://www.springfield-armory.com/products/1911-range-officer-45-acp/ https://www.springfield-armory.com/products/1911-range-officer-9mm/#PI9129L

12 gauge in that configuration is quite controllable unless you are a little old lady or have some kind of severe arthritis. Remington is now making the V3 version which is a gas-operated semi which reduces recoil and holds an extra round.

Is it a true free-float rail or one of those bolt-on jobs that uses the original barrel nut sans delta ring? If the latter, I believe you can just dremel the ring off.

You had to supply all this information to get a driver’s license? https://www.tn.gov/content/dam/tn/tnrealid/documents/REALIDRequirements.pdf

I just came here to post that, lol. Well, thanks TN. Your jacking around is going to cause me to have to get a new DL even though it was just renewed 1.5 years ago.

Replacement QD Mount For Burris AR-332
Garufa replied to ShaggyRS6's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I assume it did not come with a QD mount? Burris has planned for that, lol. https://www.burrisoptics.com/ar-qd-mount -
Pretty sure every insect name has been taken by some caliber, often .22 but off the top of my head: .218 Bee Remington Yellow Jackets (.22 LR, but still)

At one time I considered buying a case of Mosins. Kinda wish I did now. BTW, there really is no such thing as a surplus AR. Same goes for new manufacture Russian steel-cased ammo...not surplus.

The reasonable online sources like AIM start at $360 for a hex. I couln’t image what a place like Cabela’s wants.

Really a tragic thing to happen and a sad reminder that when you fire a gun, you are responsible for where that bullet goes. https://www.wate.com/news/local-news/2-year-old-johnson-county-girl-struck-by-bullet-in-critical-condition/1859847788

You win. Arrange receipt of the prize with @FUJIMO

What’s up with the screws where the forward takedown pin goes?

Looks like an old-school M16 upper. It’s not any “A” variant.

Walther P38 9mm sight replacement
Garufa replied to rugerla1's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Doesn't look like there's a lot to doing it, just need to find the parts. Parts: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufacturer/walther/auto-pistols-walther/p38 -
My initial reaction is “it’s Charter Arms”. They march to a different drummer but make quality handguns from what I hear. Most likely it fits an existing frame and cylinder size they can already produce?

Hoping for the best and a quick recovery.

As Remington already is bankrupt the strategy is quite clear.

Sounds like something they would have at the Sunrise Supermarket here in Knoxville, a full-sized Asian grocery with all kinds of bizzare things.

That is a very fine looking shotgun.
