That is so cool @Chucktshoes! When was it made?

Looks like Robinhood has put a stop to buying Gamestop, along with the other stocks that have been targeted for "attack". "Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings, BlackBerry Ltd., Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., Express Inc., GameStop Corp., Koss Corp., Naked Brand Group and Nokia Corp. have been restricted to “position closing only,” the company said in a blog post. This means that traders cannot initiate new positions in shares of those companies and can only sell existing holdings." https://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/trading-app-robinhood-blocks-users-buying-gamestop-other-stocks

But of course. The fat cats don’t want anyone cutting in on their action.

My understanding is if you go to Academy on an ammo day and don’t get to buy in store, there are neckbeards out in the parking lot ready to sell you what they just bought inside.

Your guess is as good as mine. What are we talking about?

"Breaking News" Alex Trebek has died at the age of 80"

Jennings is doing a great job hosting Jeopardy. It’s taken a bit of adjustment to get used to his voice but I say make it permanent. -
Exactly and the reason for my previous question. No one is going to get into the reloading game today and load at that kind of cost/round.
-
When did you buy the components and at what cost?

It is literary “Weekend and Bernie’s” and the memes I’ve seen are cracking me up.

You are just an R. Steadman up already.

There is a moratorium on such things as this on TGO now.

Got to try my hand at reloading today
Garufa replied to lock n' load's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
It’s a bit tedious but immensely rewarding after you’ve crafted some ammo that you can go out and shoot. -
It is addicting. Be wary of what you find though, especially from what others have contributed online. People can’t spell for #### these days and it does appear it’s always been a problem judging from the records of my people I’ve dug up lately. You might be kin to folks named Presly.

Not surprising. They advertise heavily and are big on personal injury/DUI.

For fans of the cinematic masterpiece Evil Dead that know or don’t know the Tennessee connection here’s an interesting article https://www.knoxnews.com/story/entertainment/2021/01/19/bruce-campbell-shares-evil-dead-stories-tennessee-ahead-virtual-screening/4159101001/

I had the additional shame of wearing Husky Toughskins.

It was a good list. As I recall, in order: 1. Glock. Gens 1-3 2. Ruger P series 3. Beretta 92 4. There was a fourth but I don’t recall what it was

If one is going to vet every business or manufacturer based on politics then a life, naked, in a cave eating twigs is the the best one can hope for.

No, not at all! It was a good post worthy of your time, effort, and experience. Put it back up. The popcorn comes from a prediction of what is bound to happen this being a gun forum and all (or any Internet forum). Folks will come along to add their two cents of what is better or critique what works for you.

Another Vols Football Coach Bites the Dust . . .
Garufa replied to Luckyforward's topic in General Chat
And just like that, Tennessee has a new AD after three days. Let’s see who he’ll find for a coach, if there are any players left to coach that is. -
I almost hate to admit this being a lifelong Levi’s man (after the tragic Sears Toughskins upbringing that I had no control over), but I’ve been wearing nothing but Academy’s Magellan house brand jeans for years now. They fit and wear great, especially in the part that really matters. I’ve never seen them priced over $17.99, lol.

I get all consumed with this every once in a while and thanks to you @Erik88, I'm going down the rabbit hole again. Thankfully, I've had about 4 generations of people live and die in Memphis. The Shelby County Register of Deeds has all kinds of old records freely available online. Of course, that doesn't help if you don't have any Memphis history but for folks down there that get the urge, it is a great resource.
