  1. Well hell, what do I know. Just put a Keltec P-32 in lay-a-way at Harvey's. It's a used Gen 1 gun in black. with a pouch and extra mag. Got it for $169.99+ tax. Looks practically brand new. Guess I am back in the KelTec business.
  2. They are great on small snub nose revolvers, if you want to keep the original grips on the pistol.
  3. I always thought they were one of the most beautiful handguns every made! Just true classics along with the S&W Model 60 and the Browning Hi-Power. Alas being a hater of all things .380, I have never owned one. But you have a beautiful pistol! How is the trigger on it? I had always heard they required a strong finger.
  4. Had one that I found to be utterly reliable. I put about 500 rounds through without a hitch. Carried it on occasion, but it's hard to find holsters for them. Ended up using an XDm holster. I think its the best bang for you buck in the low budget category. 6 months ago, you could purchase these fot $199. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  5. Plenty on Ebay too. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=us+bayonets+m4&clk_rvr_id=1085336144929&adpos={adposition}&rlsa=kwd-19710414917&geo_id=10232&MT_ID=7&crlp={creative}_2416792&cmpgn_id=43682539&query=bayonet%2C+m4&keyword=us+bayonets+m4&device=c&crdt=0&ad_grp=3791505886&ul_noapp=true
  6. Well... I guess I am still underwhelmed. I love my Springfield XDs 3.3 and it's in my favorite caliber, .45acp. Reckon I will stay with it.
  7. I know Keltec has a good following, but after my experience with a PF9, I probably will not have another one. It dropped the magazine about every third round.
  8. Start a new topic and repost the photos! I wanted to see what they looked like!!!
  9. Wish it was here.
  10. I think a Ruger Blackhawk Convertible in .357/9mm would make a dandy first pistol. I also like the suggestion of a older S&W K-frame.
  11. Heck! This scam has been going on for months now. They've called everyone that sets around me at work, multiple times over the last 3 months or so. One guy has been called at least 10 times! I don't understand why they aren't all in jail, if they are in the States. If they are overseas, then I don't understand why we haven't turned a drone loose on their ass yet!

I have a Saiga in 5.56 that I love. I converted it over to the military look and kept it 922r compliant. Love shooting it! Others that have tried it out, love it too. It loves the cheap steel cased rounds that my AR hates too! Another plus!!! But my go to home defense gun is a Mossy 590. Can't beat them with a stick IMO.
  13. I used to really like the all steel autos (1911s, Hi-Powers and Berretas), but now I mostly like striker fired polys. They are lighter to carry and more comfortable to shoot, at least to me. For me, it's a Glock 17, FNH FNS 9mm and Springfield XDs in .45. I have a CZ, but I'm getting ready to put it up for sale. I want a kayak and that's my least shot and carried pistol. Don't get me wrong, it's a great shooting gun, but its heavy for a 9mm and the sights are difficult to see for these aging eyes.
  14. I have a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 mounted on my Savage 10FCP.308. Great scope! Not sure you can buy a better scope for that price!!! I actually got mine on sale last Father's Day at Bud's in Sevierville for$145 if my memory serves me.
  15. Keltec PF9. I'll never have another Keltec.
  16. Done. Figure I will block their propaganda when it starts hitting my email address.
  17. I also have the HP995TS and enjoy shooting it. It's a great improvement over the original "Planet of the Apes" gun. It does not like hollow points or Promag 15 round magazines though. Been toying with the idea of buying some Redball mags, which have a 20rd capacity, to see how they do.
  18. SOCOM is looking for companies to produce the iconic AK47 and other Soviet style firearms. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2016/06/10/special-operations-command-looks-to-u-s-companies-for-homemade-ak-47s/
  19. Well dang. You all got deeper pockets than I do. I mostly carry a Rough Rider Large Locking Trapper, or a Vicky Tinker, or maybe every once in a while a large Case Sodbuster. As a general rule, I don't carry expensive knives, because, well, I'm cheap. I have never spent more than $80 for a knife and that was for a custom Hargis 5" fixed blade, that I bought off the original owner. I also got the Case Sodbuster and a Camilous Switchblade Paratrooper knife (that is broken, but just needs a new switch) in the deal. As I have gotten older (and I believe wiser), I've found I don't really need that tacticool stuff and i have settled on carrying mostly slip joints, like Leroy.
  20. NPR has suggested that Katie Couric's Anti-Gun Documentary would not have passed muster, had it been an NPR produced piece. http://www.npr.org/2016/05/26/479655743/manipulative-editing-reflects-poorly-on-couric-and-her-gun-documentary
  21. I picked up a CZ 75 back in January! Damn that pistol can flat out shoot, but I have to strain to pick up the sights on it. I like my FNH FNS better, because the sights are just so easy to see and it feels really good in my hand!!! Really nice trigger too!
  22. Bought a new M&P Compact .45acp back last fall. HATED IT! Traded it for an .45 XDs and have zero regrets. The M&P had a horrible trigger.
  23. I have no problem with the stock or the paint job. To me those rifles have little historical value. They were too late for WWII and replaced by the AK47 shortly afterwards. However in stock configuration, they are good rifles, that tend to be a little short for me. I need another inch or so on the stock for them to be truly comfortable. If you could find an original magazine out there somewhere, you could have a pretty dang good semi-auto truck gun right there.
  24. I have alway thought the original 10 round fixed magazine was the best. Nothing else in my experience comes close.
  25. It depends on how many survivors there are and how much food there is to go around.  Also I suspect that the Government (not just the Military) would quickly declare Marshall Law and try their best to lock down the country, using the Military and Federal, State and Local LE.  I think that's a given in just about any scenario.
