The craw is marked with a number rather than a name. Fred would mark prototypes with numbers so he could keep track of how each responded when tested and log the results.

As for being "certified" I'm not sure who would be the certifier more so than I. I bought the collection from Bill Nickols. He was a close friend and fishing buddy of Fred Young. Bill was the one that introduced Fred to Cotton Cordell back in the day and following this meeting Cotton Cordell began selling a plastic version of the Big O. Bill also had a local fishing television show in the early 70's. Many of you may remember him sitting in a recliner showing and narrating films of his fishing trips.

Just saw this and wish to express how glad I am that she was not seriously injured. I too have gotten the Dad's nightmare call of an accident in the night. I have also conducted more "Next of Kin" notifications than I care to remember. Your family has been blessed.

Just to add to the discussion in case it helps you or others...I have a Kubota 2013 BX series. It did the same thing you described in your initial post. I found that it actually has two in line fuel filters. One easily accessible but the other is deep within the frame structure and requires a contortionist to change. Once changed all was good. I also ran into a similar problem on the wiring / seat. Mine would start but not turn off. I had to manually activate the fuel shut off solenoid under the hood. Long story short, I found that the seat had pinched one of the wires coming from the seat safety switch which shorted and blew the 5a fuse to the fuel shutoff solenoid. Repaired the wire, changed the fuse and all was good.

I've had them all. Chev/GMC same/same. For what you are looking for I would say Ford hands down. I pretty much lost all interest in GM trucks in the mid to late 90's and personally think Ford has prevailed since that time. Two thumbs up to Luckyforward on the Rangers. I have had them as well and found them to be great little trucks. I currently have a Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport that suits my current needs. It like all my other Toyotas of the past has been an excellent truck. I think Dodge makes the prettiest truck on the road, but the prettiest girl at the dance isn't necessarily the best girl for the long haul. JMO

Doesn't matter whether it is a small town, big city or federal govt. They all play the same game. If you don't get the money you want, tell the world how bad it is going to impact your services by voicing the cuts that would illicit an emotional response. In towns, the school boards always want more money. If they don't get it they voice how they will have to cut student bus services requiring parents to transport to and from schools and or subsidized lunches or special ed classes. They never suggest to cut the new office furniture or conference travel etc. This elicits an outcry from the public which forces the councils hand and more often than not, the schools get what they want and pot holes don't get fixed, police training budgets get cut, again, or they decide the fire hoses can make it another year. This is the same BS game at a federal level. No way they will cut free housing, medical etc. for illegals, or maybe reducing SSI payments to those that should not be getting them, (which this alone would help to solve the whole SS concern) but we can't do that because it would cost votes and perhaps a loss of control. Maybe we could quit giving money to all the Green Energy startups (and soon to collapse once the money is in hand) that the politicians have financial interests in or EV interests for that matter. I could go on and on but I have ranted enough. I'm old enough that I am tired of watching the same BS games played out at all levels of govt. and even more tired of it watching work on the ignorant masses. JMO

During my law enforcement career I spent many years on the tactical team as entry team lead, primary counter sniper, Field Commander and the last 5 years as Team Commander. Along the way I was tagged by others as Tacops. I am old now and the name doesn't truly fit. I have thought of developing a new more appropriate handle but not sure how to do it so that folks know it is me and not just another newbie to the board.

From what I read this depends a great deal upon the pharmacist. Once the med is prescribed, required forms must be signed in order for the patient to get prescribed meds. Then the Pharmacist must report to TBI who in turn shuts off the ability for the patient to purchase. This prohibition remains in effect until the pharmacist again files necessary report to release the prohibition. This is unwanted/unnecessary requirements placed on the pharmacists. I see them conforming in order to sell the prescriptions. I see no motivation, requirement or penalty in place in the event the pharmacists do not follow through with the release documentation thus allowing the patient to once again purchase firearms. I see once you are on the no buy list, you will stay on the no buy list. I agree with the above, some people who could benefit from these medications will refuse treatment.

If you go with an underground system, I recommend you take a picture when you lay it to show where it is in relation to landmarks. This helps when/if you have to ever repair a break in the wire. It is easy to install by simply using a flat blade shovel to cut a slice/flap in the ground that you can slide the wire under and lay the flap of sod back in place.

I have a PetSafe underground system that I have had for about 20 years, around about 2 to 2.5 acres. It has worked very well for me. All of my Boxers have responded great with it once trained to it. I do recommend following the training concept.
