  1. How does the Real ID fit into this?
  2. My Toyota SUV has something similar. It's horrifying to see it pegged to the left. Foot off the gas and your getting 60mpg for 5 seconds. I'd rather have this in my Accord. That has a trim light around the speedo that shows green to red depending on how heavy your footwork is.
  3. I'm with @Omega. Picked up this bag for $20 or something. Had two tackle trays in it. Took one out and replaced it with Hoppes and a bottle of lubrication. The other tray has swabs, picks, smaller screw drivers and whatever else I need for handguns. Shoved a couple rags on the top to keep things quiet. That's a nice box too @ShaggyRS6. If and when I move, plans for a golf and gun room are already on the must have list.
  4. Just turned 3 years with the FNS9 being my only carry. I'm in the boat of no. You lose 1.8oz, 0.4" in the barrel and 0.3" in height. It's not ground breaking enough for me. If you have the means ($) go for it. In terms of gaining anything carry wise, I don't see it. My next move will be a single stack M&P Shield, Springfield XD-S, etc type direction.

Back about 20 years ago it was baseball cards (about 100 pounds of recycling material now) and the last couple of years I have been quietly stashing golf clubs here and there. Getting messy at this point. Sell one thing and pickup 2 or 3 in replacements. Not junk mind you. Always after one putter but deals start showing up. PayPal makes it easier for me too, not using the "real" money
  6. Welcome
  7. Sending good thoughts.
  8. I try to guess who’s going to crack first. 9 yr old boy and 5 years for the daughter. After a few hours they get feisty over the new thing. Sometimes entertaining but most times not.
  9. Grip texture on the FNS starts getting to me after 6 or 7 magazines. Only other gripe I have on mine is the take down lever pin gets warms obviously but it’s where my index finger sits when I’m in between shots. Looks like I might change over to the 509. I do like my 17+1 though.
  10. Not sure how cheap you can make light bulbs but they figured it out. I see it everyday where newer model cars have random bulbs out. Changing out the headlight bulbs on my '06 Accord was awful. Eventually had to hit YouTube for some help. Not a day goes by that I don't kick myself for selling my 1993 Chevy S10 2.3 liter with a manual. Hopefully I will have something else before a projector beam goes out on my current SUV.
  11. Please do. I used to get annoyed when dad would call almost daily once we moved from VA in 2005. Calls stopped a day short of my 30th bday in 2007. Still miss seeing "Dad" on the caller ID.
  12. I saw one in southern Williamson Co about 11 or 12 years ago on the way to work one morning. Called TWRA to see if they existed around here. She was definitely interested in where I saw it.
  13. Do you have WiFi? Sounds like a dumb question but my Netgear unit has a PC program that I can check usage by the day or month and how many devices are currently connected. Apparently 12 devices at random times, gross. Last month with all that and a work from home corporate career spouse, I used .125 TB or 125,000MB. Smart TV in the house too. Kids love streaming YouTube.
  14. Welcome the the state and the board. Bunch of members build AR’s but I’m not one of them. They’ll chime in, hopefully.
  15. It’s under one of the lever gun threads. If the pictures have disappeared I’ll make a new thread instead of stepping in this one.
  16. Should not have searched on there. Apparently I need to get another safe for a rifle of mine, which needs motion and heat capabilities. sheesh
  17. I’ll have to dig up where I got it and get back.
  18. Winchester Ranger 9mm 147gr (RA9T) right now. Not sure what I’ll use when this runs out. I load up 5 mags of round nose and use my mag in my carry when I go to the range. I think I have a few more 50 round boxes left. I liked Cor-Bon when I had a G26 also.
  19. Marlin 81DL with the Weaver scope option. Ramp gets a little finicky sometimes but still a great plinker. Marlin Model 60 is fun too. 3 more but can’t remember what they are at the moment.
  20. 2 more single stacks probably. I should clean mine up a bit and add to this thread. Far as I can tell mine is early 1800’s.
  21. Dad gave me a Remington 870 for deer hunting in the early 90’s. Still looks new, only dropped one with it. First handgun I bought was a S&W M&P40 in late 2008.
  22. I don’t know how they make anything on those. They’re so cheap I’m not sure how much gets back to school. I read the ones I buy. Last was a freebie subscription and gets recycled after one “sitting”.
  23. Two weeks in and we got one already. Magazines. We do the PTO thing but would throw another $100 to not see another fundraising form.
  24. I’ve got a Garrett Industries kydex leather lined you can try. Fits my FNS9 fine. May have to massage it a touch for the front sight though. Barrel should just fit too. Send a PM and I’ll text you photos of mine in there.
