Howdy and Welcome to Tennessee and TGO!!!
-
Thanks folks, your prayers and good thoughts are really appreciated!

I have used some Acme Bullet Co. 45 acp bullets. I love their .215 gr SWC 45, also known as Bowling Pin bullets. They are "NOT" coated, hard cast lead, sized to .452".

Good news for you! May everything work out well.

1911's are addictive. I also have a Sig 1911-22 model. Never have too many 1911's!

Monday my MOM had a doctors appointment, he told her and my sister that she (MOM) probably only has a few weeks left. A year and a half ago she had cancer appear on the outside of her left lung. Because of her age (92) surgery was out of the question and what little chemo and radiation she has been able to take has not done anything for her. The cancer has gotten quite a bit larger and now she is so weak she can not even sit up on her own. Good thing is she has no pain but has a hard time remaining awake for longer than 10 minutes. She has went down hill very fast in the last two months. She has been a very good person, a good woman and a great MOTHER to her children and to those who always hung around out house. She has had a somewhat hard but happy/good life. She is ready for what lies ahead. If you would pray for her, pray that her passing will be quick and without pain. I thank you all very much.

Picked up a new RIA "ROCK" series full size in 45 acp. Already had one from 2012 I got in a trade, 45 acp. Also have a Ruger SR1911 in 45 acp and a RIA "ROCK" full size in 9mm. I have already made some changes, changed out the full length guide rod for a GI type and put the rubber grips on. I like my 1911's to have rubber grips, GI style recoil system and single sided safeties. There is just something about a full size 1911 in my opinion.

What diameter are they? I found some work well at .356 while others need to be .357 or .358 to get the best from them. The cases do need more belling to keep from shaving the coating.

It's a bug, as a feature would have a fun switch!

Booker is a big bag of wind and could not win a debate using facts, with my dog! Colion Noir is a right guy, head on straight and has his facts. -
Sounds like Joe Biden!

Howdy Wes and Welcome to TGO!!!

I have heard good things about Bergara rifles.

Well been wearing it for awhile now and it carries comfortably and holds the pistol in close. It has thick leather and is curved to fit the body. So far so good, I liked it so much I, picked up another for another 1911.

I have 2 1991's in 45 acp and one in 9mm. The 9mm is a RIA and has been great. My 2 45's are a newer Ruger SR1911 and a older RIA. I do carry a 1911 some.

Ruger 1911 and I have had very good luck with a Rock Island Armory in 9mm. None have adjustable sights but I have found I do not need them.

Well no matter what organization, if they do good for our rights we need to support them as best we can. Freedom of speech, 2d Amendment or any other rights we have under our Constitution! From the Founders our rights are GOD given but we have to protect them!

Got a 1791 holster from off e-bay. It is a BH-1 open top owb for a 1911 5 inch model. It is brown on black. Upon initial inspection it is a quality product, fits perfectly and holds the pistol nicely. I had never heard of this company before but think they will have a good future. Price was $55 before shipping. https://.1791leather.com
