  1. Well, that system apparently doesn't work when the feds ARE supposed to be working, because my daughter can't seem to get anyone to collect from her dirtbag ex who lives in Missouri, currently.
  2. Since when is child support a federal thing rather than a state thing?
  3. What government shutdown?
  4. Says the guy who had his chamber reamed! :)
  5. If you think about it everything's a mental condition.
  6. I don't think that we should be surprised at all.
  7. My best friend works at the VA, (no, he's not the stereotypical federal employee), and he tells me what goes on there. I don't see how this shutdown will effect anything since they work at a snail's pace anyways. They just have so-called justification to do so now.
  8. I hope that they do this. Kind of hard for media to spin something like this, IMHO.
  9. Judge Napolitano says that a treaty does NOT trump the constitution, and that this is only symbolic in nature.
  10. Not really dognapping, but I get it. I don't understand how someone can do this to a dog, and I frankly don't want to. I'd rather it just be legal to put THEM down by any means at my disposal, and let the dog live its life.
  11. Dead female shooter.
  12. WTH is wrong with people?
  13. I've read most of fictional books. They really got me into reading for pleasure when I was younger. I wonder why the cause of death isn't being released?
  14. Remember: Elections have consequences. :wall:
  15. First hit, no; second hit, yes.
  16. They wouldn't use it to prove an alibi; they'd use it only to disprove one.
  17. Don't forget that he's been groomed from an early age to run for president. It wouldn't surprise me at all that he spent 25 years in a church just going with the flow for appearances.
  18. Actually, when they had the anti's boycotting Starbucks for a day, (LOL!), I made it a point to stop by, lay down $34 for latte's and crap we didn't need, and tell the staff exactly that I was there to support them. I had my handgun tucked safely out of sight.
  19. Umm, Mike, I responded to at least one of your post with a quote. Are you getting that old? :)   No, I did NOT read all 15 pages because it's people saying the same thing over and over it seems. I have followed many of the pages and plainly stated how I feel, but I'll reiterate some. They are a business who can welcome me and my money all they want too since we are a capitalist society. What I won't participate in is their welcoming of my money but not my legally carried concealed weapon. I do NOT agree with the OC groups that have pushed the company to do this. In today's environment I would want someone patronizing my business with a long gun either, but they clearly stated that guns, whether OC or concealed, are NOT welcomed in their establishment. No, I will NOT disarm for a latte. I'll give my money to someone else.
  20. Wow! 15 pages for a coffee shop!
  21. ^^ This, Mike Gideon. That one statement said it all.
  22. Yes, that's the line that many seem to have missed. They are stating that your gun, either open or concealed, is NOT welcome in their place of business.
  23. Agreed!
  24. The message was repeated this morning on Fox which I saw already. Guns not welcomed in the store means all guns open and concealed. I got that they are asking nicely enough and not "properly" posting as a policy for wiggle room. I don't care about the strengh of their message because the meaning is clear...at least as far as I'm concerned.
