  1. You calling it hogwash doesn't make it so. Get a viable third party and then there's something else to discuss.
  2. I like Fall Creek Falls and Montgomery Bell. I do NOT like Cedars of Lebanon. We are going to Cumberland Mountain State Park for Labor Day weekend for the first time.
  3. I should have added that IMHO said people have no right to complain about Obama because they got exactly what they defacto "voted" for.
  4. It frustrates me to see people on here who think that if a candidate doesn't match their way of thinking 100% of the time then they aren't going to vote for them. They are defacto holding a freak'n politician to a higher standard than they do their own spouses.
  5. Well, although I think Obama was in error to characterize AQ in any way decimated, anyone with any common sense realizes that combating AQ in the manner that we do is like playing a deadly version of the Whack-A-Mole game. In order to defeat an enemy you have to be more deadly, and that includes anyone associated with them. If you use your family or anyone else as a shield then their deaths are on you; not the one you are fighting.
  6. Play stupid games....
  7. Dang! And I sold my .308 because there's no decent ranges around here. :(
  8. If'n there is I haven't seen one anywhere in town.
  9. First rate - gold star asshole :)
  10. Yes, this is a well-established legal precedent albeit a disturbing one - even as a former LEO myself. It makes me chuckle every time I see something like "To serve and to protect" written on police cars and the like. I like to think that I'd have never stood by and watched while someone was injured/killed when I was a LEO, but I somewhat understand the ruling as well. Charging in blindly without the force necessary to accomplish the mission isn't too smart either, and I can see why they wouldn't legally require someone to do so, but on they same token the military is expected to do so.
  11. I call BS. Pets will feed on dead humans if they are starving, but a live one?
  12. His motives are money; his guise is fighting the good fight. I have no respect for that.
  13. Why can't he just stumble and fall off the planet?
  14. I'm in the "I don't" catagory. Hiding anything from my spouse isn't a marriage, IMHO. I've been married for 34.5 years since I was 18.
  15. Opinions are like buttholes: Everyone has one, and they all stink! So here's mine:   I have had experience with Jeff Wall at Guns and Leather and Chad Kandros on the same weapon. Since Jeff easily diagnosed a problem with my 1911A1 that had Chad scratching his head, (along with other gunsmiths), I tend to lean towards Jeff at this point.
  16. Dope, no; ditty-bop'n, yes! I was feeling my roots. :)
  17. I've been followed by security in the mall, and I'm white. I was racially profiled!!!
  18. The Vice President of the United States has important duties? I didn't know that.
  19. There are so many exceptions that this law is relatively useless.
  20. NBC is reporting that he loaded bullets into the shotgun.   http://www.nbcnews.com/id/52436426
  21. Description: The carpet didn't match the drapes and her boobies were asymetrical.
  22. The hardest thing for me was dealing with spouse and child abusers. The most dangerous thing was working on the actual streets. Working accidents and traffic stops puts you right were those huge bullets were traveling. I slid on the ice in front of an oncoming semi and barely clawed myself out of the way before getting hit. One officer got grazed by a trailer in the middle of the night during a traffic stop on the Interstate. Fortunately, his heavy vest and luck prevented severe injury.
  23. Yep, demoted: http://www.wsmv.com/story/22748838/tn-official-demoted-after-comparing-water-complaints-to-terrorism
  24. +1   And thanks for posting.
