Man I have been wanting to build a 5.5" 9mm upper to go with my can in a bad way.

I have a DPMS LR308 with a 24" barrel. It shoots the lights out. The only issue I have ever had with it is that the DPMS factory mags are shitty. I went through 3 batches of them and could not get reliability. I switched to C-products and magpul mags and have not had a single malfunction.

Get you some hornady lever evolution boolits for it. Easily extends the range of the 30-30 to 200+yards. A 160grn bullet going 2400fps sighted in 3" high at 100 will be 0.2" low at 200 and -12.1 at 300.

Nice build. Might do a little better with lower scope rings and a better butt stock but not bad at all. How is the trigger?

Does anyone know where to purchase an original 10rd mag for one? I recently acquired one from a family member; it doesn't have a magazine and I hate the 30 round aftermarket ones. Thanks
