  1. I was wondering if anybody had ever built a Sten from just scrap steel? I was thinking about trying this. The prints I've found online are not very clear on dimensions. Most prints show the Sten being crudely built.
  2. I gotta give Fastenal credit. They try but, there's stuff they can't find or get.
  3. Hope you can find one. Some taps and dies are hard to find.
  4. Never owned one but, shot some and like them. Ruger makes good quality guns.
  5. $150.00 don't sound to bad. I need to get some more ammo before it goes completely insane in price like the rifles.
  6. Sometimes it helps to polish the feed ramp some too. Also what the other guys said is good advice.
  7. Thanks for posting this Bersaguy. Everyone needs to remember and think about what today stands for. June 6 is coming up and I always remember an old man that lived close to me. He was there on one of the beaches in Normandy that day.
  8. Never seen a Ruger 10" but, a friend had a Dan Wesson 10" several years ago.
  9. Some sawmills have a sawshop and sharpen their own blades. They break blades occasionally and I'm sure would give you some good pieces. Its pretty hard though and would need heat treatment to make it workable.
  10. A friend at work bought a Mark IV and loves it. Great gun he says.
  11. Have you ever made any out of bandsaw mill blades?

    AK deal!

Well, its been a long time since I seen it.

    AK deal!

He probably wants to hold one over his head and scream "Wolverines" 25 times. Lol. Good price though.
  14. Anybody seen the tungsten carbide rifling buttons on ebay? I was looking at the 9mm 6 groove. It does not have the decimal equivilant measurement anywhere. I'm assuming probably .355".
  15. Gretchen Wilson and Jerry Cantrell. Awesome!
  16. I've had one for about 2 years. I've not got anything that I pay extra for. Its all free stuff. If there is such a thing.
  17. Well, you'll just have to burn some ammo to find out. You never really know till you shoot.
  18. Powers Boothe was a great actor.
  19. Congratulations. I'll always remember my first one. Called it in myself and had to commando crawl about another 20 yards, keeping cover between me and the bird,.
  20. Im sure they're probably ok guns. I just think its a little weird that "Mossy" is doing handguns. They got to be better than their junky rifles.
  21. Yeah, I remember when Mitchell's was selling so many. I don't know if its one of them or not. It was bought about 12 years ago. Its got a wooden box, bayonet, bayo frog, cleaning kit, whole nine yards.
  22. Thats a real nice one. I started to buy one years ago but, didn't commit. All the various M48 rifles are going way up in price. A friend has a Yugo 48 that looks unissued. Probably not though. Lol.
