  1. I knew that setting depth did not look right. Sometimes I over research things but I am glad I did some checking on this one.
  2. Thanks. I also just found on Hornady website that there is a error in the 9th addition manual I have. The correction says 2.090. https://press.hornady.com/assets/pcthumbs/tmp/1410993774-9th-Edition-Handbook-Updates-Errata1522702177.pdf
  3. Anyone loading 300 blackout with H110 and Hornady 150 gr FMJ? Loaded a dummy round to set COL at 2.20 I know the max is 2.260 but this round looks really long. It’s not even close to the cannelure. I measured some american eagle 150 factory and it’s much shorter. Is this common among 300 blackout?
  4. 2 weeks ago Rule King had 9mm for $8.99 a box i almost always buy a box when I am there whether I need it or not. But check and store it up. By the way finely got around to putting my 300 black out AR pistol together and can’t find any ammo other than 2 box I got a few weeks back. Has anyone seen any that is reasonably price? Can’t believe I didn’t buy any back in November- January while gathering parts for the build.
  5. Royal Range has PMC 9mm 115 grain for $44.95 for 50 rounds and $800 for a case of 1,000
  6. Off subject but I was at ruel King in Clarksville and they had Armscore 9mm for 8.99 limit of 2.
  7. I know Top hat guns does smith and restoration work. I have not used them yet I believe they are located in Cumberland city if I remember right.
  8. Congratulations my wife and I just had our 11th in May and this past February we adopted 2 boys a 2 and 3 year old. Well technically we got guarding ship the adoption will be finalized on Monday.
  9. I am either Gottlieb put Xs or trijicon HDs on my glock not sure keep got back and forth
  10. Any say I have had problems from winchester but I have from remington a few years back lots of failures to fire. I have a co worker that had a box of remington 38 all and 357 that most would not fire also.
  11. I also like CFE223 but still have not tried it in 308. My most accurate 223 load so far has actually been with H335 and a 55grain BTFMJ.
  12. RL15 works great in my 308 Mossberg patriot with 168 grain Hornady match bullet. I can group just under a inch at 100 yards. I have not yet tried it in 223 but I will soon as I get a chance to load some up. RL 15 measures pretty good thru my Hornady powder measure also. I have heard varget dose not still haven’t tried it though.
  13. I took my wife to a good family owned gun shop in Dickson that I visit regular they know me by name. The owner is a retired police officer ( his daughter in’s it mostly now) she is also very knowledgeable. Told him she wanted something to carry. They got several out of the case and laid them out for her to handle. She pick a Glock 43X. I told them what I had and that she really didn’t care for any of them so we had that part narrowed down.
  14. Nitrous Oxide with the right set up= night HP crazy fast cars. Last I heard it was about $45-50 to get a 10lbs nitrous bottle filled at my local speed shop. Sounds like a potential investment opportunity.
  15. Plus it’s fun. Unfortunately I haven’t had time to load since we adopted our boys.
  16. Stoger make one I have considered myself and I like the exposed hammers for the old west look. CZ makes one if I remember right but they are more pricy than Stoger. Cimarron and Unertia also make nice ones. I believe Centry makes them as well but the Centry I handled sloppy.
  17. Here is what I am slowly working on. Aero lower rise arement trigger 10.5 in Bear creek barrel low profile gas block with a pistol length gas system and chambered in 300 BLK. What length hand guard would you use seen from 7-10 inches. Also looking at possibly free floating it just because.
  18. Got pretty rough here in Dickson county. No damage to our house but a tree fell at my in laws and ripped the power lines off there house. A friend of ours down the road got some roof damage and some down trees.
  19. Farmers Armory in Dickson get lot of my business formally Johns guns and ammo his daughter runs it now. They have some reloading stuff mostly powder and primers. You may also check out Midsouth Shooters Supply in Clarksville for reloading supplies they have a good selection. Midsouth does mainly online order but they do have a pick up counter but I believe pick up is currently closed.
  20. If you can find one a winchester wildcat worth a look. Handled one at the nra show last year really liked supper easy to disassemble for cleaning and they take 10/22’mags. There is also nothing wrong with a 10/22 in any configuration.
  21. Hornady make several models. Fort Knox and Gettysburg and stack on just off the top of my head. I have an off brand but I am going to upgrade. The finger print reader dose not work very consistently.
  22. I have some put back but not as much reloading supplies as I would like. I stopped in at my LGS today and they had no 9mm FMJ or 45FMJ left also no 223/556 except for some hunting loads. She said it was selling fast. What they had on the shelf was all they had left.
  23. Yeah it’s kinda become a family thing few uncles and my dad and brother. Few years our kids will be old enough for it.
  24. Going to do an inscription with there names birthday and adoption date. Also going to get them there lifetime sportsman.
