  1. In short no The term most genuinely applies to illegal weapons that are created by cutting off the barrel of a standard shotgun. This has a dramatic effect on double-barreled or single-shot shotguns because the barrel can be cut to any length. Pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns usually have a tube magazine attached to the underside of the barrel which limits the minimum barrel length to slightly longer than the length of the magazine tube, when only the barrel is modified.
  2. As the comments say(What no 1911's)just musing of coarse :dunno:
  3. I voted the 300AAC in an AR-I have both a Remington 700 in .308 and a CMMG in 300AAC-they are both some pretty accurate shooters. The .308 will group 3/4 inch at 150 yards-and the .300 I have shot at same yardage but only pulled about a 2 inch group with it.My bad shooting no doubt on the .300.My Remington is a lot heavier than the CMMG .The .300 was ringing the steel pretty effectively at that range with 115 UMC.In Northern Michigan I think the .300 would be a decent deer caliber considering a lot of the hunting there is under the 100 yard mark easily. Here in TN I am clueless seeing as I have never done any hunting in the area. The only reason I bring up Michigan is due to the fact thats where I have hunted the most.
  4. Just another fantastic plastic-think I will pass.It seems that there are continuously new plastic pieces in the makes.I for one get a little tired of all the polymer wonders.
  5. (I would like to see automatic brakes)Yea-cause that would work out so well-why do we not automatic everything in life
  6. That would definitely look good next to my Redhawk
  7. In the future sometime or another people are going to have to get over themselves and quit being so temperamental-like we all are making fun of them-and if we are- suck it up buttercup. Its life after all.
  8. WOW-18 bucks for Bullseye-I only wish
  9. I for the life of me can not figure out why anyone in their right mind actually seriously listens to any of the ding dongs in Hollywood. Most of the shootem up actors protest the very use of the tools in real life that they fictitiously use to make their millions.Yup-as see thru as a picture window on a tank.I myself would never know first hand what any of these fakers have got to say if I didn't frequent forums-I believe a good part of actors rarely stand on any personal beliefs-strictly posing for their crowd.
  10. yup-here in Lakeland-acting real funny this morning
  11. Yeh-I noticed this also, but I assumed something was wrong because of the fact I replaced my modem last week.I thought it was a goof on their part.Did you check your download speed-they reduced me to performance from blast.I am now getting 29mbs compared to the 80 I was getting.
  12. EAA Witness Compact all steel-pistol shoots great.I think because of the weight of the pistol the round does not feel that snappy to me.I also reload some pretty anemic range ammo which makes shooting a lot more fun.
  13. I was considering opting for the lifetime HCP but I dont know if I will make till older than dirt stage-I stand a better chance of being just dirt. Its a lot like I am an NRA member paid up till 2024-any more than that I will consider myself lucky.
  14. I wonder what will happen when mine is due-1 year left on my HCP but 2 years on my DL.That will put it only 1 year apart.

    Christmas

Merry Christmas to all Good wishes for the New Year
  16. I watch zero sports-it interests me not.I however do not deny anyone else from watching or participating in sports. Therefore why do they feel its needed for them to want to deny me my sports interests.I think the pro sports is just a large paycheck for a lot of people that could do nothing else for a living.IMHO they need to keep their noses out of the political arena and stay in their own court. Also fact be known they tend to make a lot of money and therefore can afford their own paid bodyguards.I would like to see them give up their rights to hire said guard and just wing it like the rest of us.Maybe we should abolish the NBA-NFL-PGA-AFL and the rest of the alphabet teams.Seems fair to me.
  17. Where are the voters when it comes to these unfair taxes-oh wait-thats right look who these voters put into offices across the nation.
  18. I see you have the most elusive M&P-the M&P EAA Witness S&W 10mm :shhh: Mighty fine collection you have there.
  19. Ruger has a better than $800.00 MSRP on these devils.I own a GP100 4 inch half lug that I only have $450.00 into.In my eyes they are a little steep price wise-but look heavy duty no doubt.
  20. After reading a lot of the news sites different articles over the last 2 days something about this attack has had a different effect on the general population.Reading a lot of the comments afterwards it appears that the American population is not buying the politicians anti gun rhetoric this time.I like a lot of the commentators feel that to enact any type of gun control would in fact make the people more vulnerable-not more safe.I guess what I am trying to say is that its about time some of these citizens are finally waking up to what the rest of us already were thinking.
  21. Vote for the Ruger 22/45-right in your financial ballpark and very reliable-well mine is.
  22. Same said here-the only ammo my Kimber Pro Carry and Ruger  SR1911 ever choked on.I used to pick a box up at the range I shoot at but no more.I have had several feeding problems with it.Now I reload all my .45 so no more problems.

    Tourists

Hoplophobic(its in the mind)or should I say mindless :ugh:
  24. I would like one in the .41 mag to match my Redhawk-I bet they are a fun shooting rifle.
  25. I have a Gamo Viper that is a .22 caliber air shotgun-a much smaller scale than the Air Venturi. It shoots about 10-#9 shot out of a plastic shell. It will put the shot thru both sides of a steel can at about 20 feet.Good for small vermin and the like.
