Lyft Offering Free Transpo to Anti-Gun Rallies
hipower replied to Fourtyfive's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
This is an excellent short article! States exactly what every person in this nation should understand. Unfortunately, very few do. Most "go along" with those in the public eye. People who by choice or by fluke get attention and become a "celebrity." One of those people we should follow like mindless sheep...because we all know that if you are a "celebrity" you are super intelligent and always right. -
My answer...yes. On both questions. lol I have a couple that have been done with Anderson lowers. They work. As to buying another. Sure...why not. If the price suits you, go for it.

I like the series. My wife LOVES the series...and the lead actor. lol I've had to buy her the dvds of it. I think she's watched it 3 possibly 4 times now. I just put a dvd in and go hide out.

Ok...now this is getting serious. We are putting Dolomite into the Chuck Norris category. Dolo's good...but not Chuck good! lol -

I bet Dolomite could do this! If he hasn't already. lol -
I traded off a pristine 952 and 5 mags just a few months back. The trade value came out to about 2600. I had nowhere near that in it. Very happy with the deal. I can tell you where it went, but I don't think it can be gotten at the moment.

Ditto. Wanted a nice waterproof jacket a few years ago. Went into REI and had a real shock. Left quickly.

Good SHTF Survival Fiction Books
hipower replied to plank white's topic in Survival and Preparedness
I'll get them on the way to you. Hopefully tomorrow morning. I think some of Jerry Ahern's best writing came from his co-writing with Sharon. Sure wish I still had all of the books from Survivalist #1 on. But 2010 flooding here got them and a lot more of my books from the 70s/80s. -

I found them! A full set of the 5 books. Not really doing you any favors here. I didn't think much of them. Maybe will be more to your liking. Not looking for a swap. This is my pay-it-forward. You mentioned Jerry and Sharon Ahern...do you have Miamigrad? -

LOL! Like me...you are hopeless. The absolute necessity to read all in a series is deeply troubling. It is a massive addiction, heavily fueled by the current writing/publishing schemes of Amazon and other retailers. "Like this book! Read them All!...by the way...you can only get them from us." A bit negative, but true. lol I'm currently going thru old books my BIL has been giving me. Since his new digs has little room, and his sweetie has limited space for his things; I'm getting a lot of them. Most just good for possible trade in at McKays, but should something interesting show up, I try and set it aside for my reading. I've found a few 60/70s pure syfy books that I'm keeping for my ever-increasing personal collection. Should I see something that I think might interest you, I'll send a pm. How about the W.E.B. Griffin(Griffith?) books? There's a few here. LIke them? Read them? Any interest in the sword/sorcery/fantasy? Just what would you prefer? -
I've seen their ads before, but have no first-hand knowledge of them. Yes, they do have some really enticing pricing.

Might like a few more 9mm and 45, but that's all for me. My 2 guns don't eat much.

Aren't those track sections?

Everybody make it through the bad weather last night?
hipower replied to Grand Torino's topic in General Chat
We always have fearful nights, and days, when threats of heavy or continuous rains are in the forecast for the Nashville area, Due to low property, we have issues when more than 2-3 inches occur in a day or less span. I(we) were very much agitated throughout this episode, but came thru ok. Just a soggy yard. But having flooded twice...ALWAYS watching and ready to leave. I keep a 2-3 day clothing bag in my car at all times. Trying to get my wife to do the same. -
Ok...maybe I'm just stupid this morning, but I didn't find this listing. And for the novice just getting involved in purchasing MRE products...are these self heating types?

Companies ending partnerships with NRA
hipower replied to jdgreen's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
AS with the previous members, I've never used an NRA discount. Never seemed worthwhile to me. -
Good thinking. I have a crap ton of AR mags, not so many for the AK.

I know I do.
